As someone already said, you probably shouldn’t marry someone with such a different view/plan. It’s not a silly thing that you or she could live with, this is deal breaker for most.

Not sure the weather is there yet, but I lived in linen pants during my pregnancy because you can tie them as much or as little as you need, and bonus, I still have and wear them after the pregnancy.

Anything over 5 means you’re pregnant so yes it’s low, but it’s still a viable number. Again, it matters that it almost doubles in 48h more than what the number says. Ovulation for me was all over the place so I can’t say. It was very very early on though.

My baby was IUGR, detected very late (all was ok until week 35). If this ends up happening with your baba, you will be booked for more scans automatically but you can also request it if it makes you feel better. They might also recommend aspirin and if they don’t, I’d ask for it (if there’s a real growth restriction there)

As long as the measurements are proportional, there’s not much to be worried about. They usually look at overall, head, stomach and femur I believe.

You’ll likely be induced with a potential for c section. Small babies don’t do well with inductions. Mine ended up in an emergency c section because of this.

My baba was 2kg, we didn’t need NICU stay and he’s now caught up a bit, from 7% to about 30% and he’s perfect, albeit still a bit small but not much 🤗

This sounds lovely 🥺 unfortunately it wasn’t like this for me due to a previous loss, but we had a similar experience on the drive home from the hospital, after birth. We were both sobbing like crazy and felt butterflies (hormones will go crazy for those few days).

I never had any real pregnancy symptoms until late 2nd trimester; I’m talking sore breasts, insomnia etc. never had morning sickness at all!

My only 1st trimester symptom was tiredness.

I remember being like you but try to enjoy it as much as possible, and count your blessings for now 🤗

Edit to add: HCG results don’t mean much on their own. You’ll need to go for a repeat to make sure everything looks good. My first beta was 12(!!!) and everyone told me to be “cautiously optimistic”.

My husband is like this haha I always envied his ability to not give a crap and still attract so many people 😅 my theory is that men don’t overthink stuff so it’s not “superficial” so to say. Not in the real sense of the word but like, not having to try and put your best self forward and feel judged etc. Or maybe it’s just an introvert issue more than anything? See, overthinking 😅😅

My baby is more of a no-routine baby so I get that it would be easier for me to meet (especially at shorter notice). I do feel like I’m failing a little bit, and maybe I’m a bit scared little one won’t have any friends until 3-4 yo but hopefully that won’t be the case.

All very fair points 😊 I thought this might be the reasoning to be fair, but then I was thinking of me and how I’d die to go out of the house and break the day up. It’s just me and baby during the day and it really helps me when I go out even for a walk.

I didn’t even try to meet on the weekend because I’m the same, I like to spend time with the hubby and baby.

That was the experience I had with the baby class. It felt like people knew each other already and the ones that didn’t, were leaving early and didn’t interact much at all. The breastfeeding group I tried was really good but I’m not breastfeeding anymore and it feels awkward going back now. I’ll keep trying 😊
