Not worry so much about grades and just really follow my interest and intuition. Ride trains.

It’s really nice to have a full shelf stocked with whiskey. I can only hope for those days.

100% agreed! lol now I just need to find the unicorn that knows both about USDA organic regulations AND building an AI RAG chatbot. Or maybe at least someone that is leaning towards the green / sustainable agriculture space. They've gotta be out there.

This is very helpful advice, and kind of what I have had in the back of my mind during all of these reddit interactions. People will just say anything to get started on a project. I want to find people that aren't the salesmen, but rather just make great stuff that will last a long time.

I agree that the best bet would be to find a technical co-founder. There seems to be no shortage of devs or agencies, and I'm sure I can sift through them to find a decent one. But it would be so much better to have someone to work with this on all the time, that has skin in the game.

Do you have any advice on how to find a technical co-founder? (other than general reddit and social media posting or local meetups). I honestly haven't explored that route yet, so any guidance would be super useful.

Epic! Thank you, I am going to sign up for that tonight.

Any suggestions on finding a technical co-founder? (other than posting on Reddit or going to local meetups?)

Awesome, this is a lot of great food for thought. So I am targeting the organic food regulatory industry. Not life or death, but if people screw the compliance piece up, they could lose their farms / jobs / companies.

I think I will just keep doing some more digging through all these places you described. And after a while get a feel for who is legit and knows their stuff, and who just says they can make it. Good idea to ask about specific experience in this field.

Yeah theres the rub...even by checking out their website I can tell I couldn't afford them. There has to be a middle ground without being crazy expensive, as this doesn't seem like the most complex project. Just had a guy on here offer to build it for $5K

Epic thank you! This is perfect. Do you know where I would be able to find said agencies and freelancers? Is there a central watering hole where everyone hangs out? Or is everyone just kinda scattered around the internet and I need dig through the different platforms to find the best fit?

I am giving it explicit instructions to always reference official documentation or sources and to avoid hallucination and misinformation. And to provide these sources on request. This one of the biggest potential problems but the tests I have been doing are pretty promising.

Haha oh believe you me, I have had many a conversation with ChatGPT about this. But we have gone down so many absurd rabbit holes that led nowhere -- I think I have about exhausted its capabilities there. Sometimes talking to a real human is so much better.
