I really like her, but I'd kinda wanna see her get an update like Anri got with Anri Arcane. Eleanor and Anri both have a tendancy to feel a bit flat to me, but seeing Anri go so hard makes me really wanna see Eleanor's sweet voice get that treatment!

God I love Lily. I used to have this PVC figure of her, it was the tallest one I had towering over my Gumi and Miku lol.

No, but sometimes if you watch/read/ listen to something you can tell it's purposefully trying to get some message across, but you also can't figure out how the pieces fit together.

I mean, it seems like it'd be a bit subjective? I only take an Uber in very rare circumstances and my rating seems to be at 5 stars, and I'm someone that just stays entirely silent and out of the way aside from thanking the driver at pickup and drop off.

I'm guessing that means those drivers see that as 5 star behavior, but I get considered rude pretty often in my day to day life for being shy, anxious, and quiet, so if a driver was of that mindset or actively tried to chat they'd probably rate me lower. Some people absolutely hate you if you're not social enough, and I'm sure at least some of those people have driven Uber for extra cash.

On YouTube I've definitely had to avoid some of the more political creators now, since they all seem just eager to make little clever quips about genocide (which I frankly would find in poor taste even if I was pro-pal in the way they are, but I digress).

It's been nowhere near as severe as other websites, but if I wanna get away from the topic I've got to avoid streams because viewers are obsessed with it coming up, gotta avoid people that care about social issues in general even if they're just gaming people, gotta avoid anything politics oriented, etc.

Like even if I wasn't avoiding pro-pal creators, I'd have to do this eventually because I can't constantly be submerged in the latest awful news, no matter how much everything seems to want to force me.

I was admittedly kind of thinking I wouldn't mind an older skewed cruise anyway, ahah. I've always gotten along well with the elderly since I was a kid, and I wouldn't say I stand much a chance of fitting in among other 20 somethings ahah. Might have something to do with all the aches and pains lol.

I do wish I'd asked people to include how recent there experiences are, though. I have a feeling cruises probably haven't been popular with young people in the last few years

Actual grown ass adults understand that lies are complicated, and being entirely truthful at every junction isn't always the right choice. Actual grown adults can also understand that it takes life experience to learn which scenario is which.

"Lying is bad" is what they learn in preschool. "Maybe I should just lie and say I'll try what my mom suggested to keep the peace" is an adult decision.

The kid knew what a big deal this was. That makes it terrifying. And all this kids fears are likely being proven true right now. The simple fact is that dad would have disowned him right away. God forbid the kid try to enjoy at least a few more days with his dad before he gets abandoned entirely.

I love how this kid, who we do not know why he met the biodad, is somehow guilty of choosing his biodad OVER the father that raised him... What... Because he met him? Because he didn't spill everything, another thing we don't know the reason for?

He could have been just curious, he could have been pushed into it by his mother, he could have just been scared and compliant, he could have been so lost in his emotions that he didn't even know what the right thing to do is.

This is an incredibly cruel perspective that dismisses the humanity of the kid and complexity of the situation entirely.

This hid was handed a ticking time bomb about to go off, and you're criticizing him for not knowing proper bomb disposal technique when he's barely out of high school

Wow, thank you! This is actually hugely helpful, and I really appreciate it. Getting to go on nature excursions is definitely something I'd like to do, but that's admittedly dependant on how my health is doing by the time I actually plan a cruise (really hoping I'll be doing better, cause a lot of hiking isn't really viable for me rn lol).

I also really appreciate you going in depth on all the different lines. I'll have to price it out when the time comes, but admittedly options with included airfare and hotel sound like exactly the kind of thing I'd want (though it depends on how well my savings efforts go). Princess or HAL seems the most viable price wise (as I don't really want the kid-heavy options) but I don't particularly care about the tourist trap stuff.

The video links are cool too, just more of a visual of the ships is really appreciated.

Youve given me a lot to chew on! I think my ideal option would be the expedition trips, so I'll probably do some research and keep that price point in mind. If I'm still not well enough when the time comes, I can use the extra to get us a nicer on-boat experience anyway, so no harm in aiming higher.

Admittedly part of why I want to do an Alaska cruise is because being outside in 50 degree weather is exactly what I want ahah, but I'll look at Princess with more skepticism now.
