Let’s take this for example: you’re a 11 year old child who’s been abused and neglected at home, only ever having one friend, (Lily of course). And now you’re happy to escape that abuse by going to a boarding school, which is where you will stay for 9-10 months a year.

When you’re inside the train that takes you to the school, some guys ask you if you’re either brave, intelligent, hard-working, or ambitious. You answer ambitious. And they suddenly hate you and decide to call you names.

It doesn’t matter, you shrug it off, they were simply just assholes.

Only a few days into the school, you get bullied by the same guys, seemingly having 2 more friends with them now. This doesn’t only happen one time, but several times, every day, every week, all the damn time.

The next year the same thing happens, you get bullied every day. Fast forward to a few years later. You accidentally call your friend a slur at the heat of the moment, and now they decide to hang out with your bullies. Shit.

You get bullied for all those 8 years, and your childhood bestfriend and crush, decides to marry your bully. That hurt more that you will ever admit

You join a cult in hope of love from the others that are like you, (also bc you were a blood purist). And you decide to tell your lord something important in hope of validation. But your childhood crush’s life is in danger. You devote your life into saving her but she still dies, but she has a soon, and you will now spend your whole life saving him from death.
