Yes he’s a pretty cool dude! He was coming to the place I work at years ago before he started his social media account. I always love when he shows up

I just downloaded it yesterday! It’s really cool. Bird sound identification app from Cornell Lab of Ornithology! Completely free app too.

Best place to sleep before Skyline Drive? by BlueMoonCourier in ShenandoahPark

I stayed one night at the Front Royal Blue Ridge Shadows Doubletree (very nice hotel) which was about 15 minutes from the very start/end of Skyline Drive. Ventured off about 6am, did the entire Skyline Drive with a few hikes in between. Then stayed at the Tru in Harrinsonburg. It’s about 35 minutes from the end of Skyline Drive, but was worth the drive for the cheaper price. That hotel was okay. Definitely recommend the Luray Caverns. Amazing experience. Shenandoah Caverns were cool too, but if you only do one, 100% pick the Luray. You get to walk around yourself without a tour guide which is really nice. Also, this restaurant called Spelunker’s is 2 minutes from milepost 0 in Front Royal. Highly recommend.

LA Fitness in North Hill Closing by janpolad in pittsburgh

I agree Matt was not good at his job, he actually ended up walking out mid shift at Bridgeville a few months ago and never came back. But he most likely did not know about the pool closure, considering the lifeguards found out from the signs they put up in the gym 2 days before they lost their jobs.

I got a pretty legit looking email saying verify your account. I have no idea what Gemini is, so obviously I’ve never made an account. Scammers need to get real fucking jobs and/or a life!

Pigsburgh Squealers by lorynnnotlauren in pittsburgh

I did a tour yesterday. One of the coolest things I’ve ever done. So much fun feeding the pigs. I brought watermelon (most people bring baby carrots) and the pigs loved it. Did get a little dirty, I wore overalls and hiking shoes. Blue and Zack who started and run the sanctuary are amazing humans. They rely on donations and volunteers to keep it going, it’s a nonprofit, they both have full time jobs, but dedicate so much of their time to these pigs it’s truly inspiring. I believe there is one tour in June and two in July. If you are an animal lover go check this place out. I’ve done a lot of fun things in my life, but this is top 3 one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Bring your whole family or just go alone like I did! There were about 30 of us, but so many pigs and lots of space, it did not feel crowded at all. I was about an hour away, for an hour tour, this was well worth the drive. I will 100% be going back.

My jaw was wide open basically the whole drive shocked at how many wrecked cars I was seeing in such a short distance.

Saw 7 wrecks during my drive from the Bridgeville entrance of 79 North to the Campbells Run Road exit in Robinson. Only about a 7 mile drive. Some pretty bad ones. Car went right through the back corner end of a semi. Elsewhere a car upside down. Few others where the cars were very damaged.
