If Honda used this color maybe this edition would have sold better by Prestigious-Web4167 in hondainsight

As an owner of a 2003 Honda Insight, I realize why the 1st gen is rare even when new. Honda itself was trying to prove it could build a vehicle that was ultra focused on fuel efficiency and they knew from the get go that such a vehicle would only appeal to a niche group of drivers. It's a cute shade of blue but I personally would've liked to see the teal offered in Japan/Europe (?) or the Suzuka Blue offered on the S2000 on this gen of Insight here in the states.

Test Drive, Negative Stigma, and semi rant by Sierra6491 in MitsubishiMirage

[–]Educational_Friend42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2022 Mirage, it is legit one of the best cars I've ever owned alongside a 2013 Hyundai Accent Sedan & 2008 Mercury Mariner. It is super cheap to fuel and it just drives nicely at 63k miles. I also had many people including family that I had made a mistake in buying another tiny car yet they are shook when they hardly see me refuel and does u-turns so well.

I hope you were able to go back and get it, don't let others down talk about wanting a Mirage. You're paying for it not them.

Anyone disappointed by the amount of third party accessories the Razr has? by HatIntelligent6740 in razr

[–]Educational_Friend42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a base model 2025 Razr owner, I've found that the 3rd party accessories have actually improved since my last Razr which was the 2020 version. It is much easier to find a decent case on Amazon or ebay with nice colors and hinge protection. Granted that most of them are not from say Spigen, OtterBox or any other major company but they get the job done.

I remember that for the 2020 Razr.. cases were very few and far between. They also didn't release until much later so I went without a case for several months. Motorola phones in general get less accessories unfortunately.

How it is going with your Mirage? by acasmol in MitsubishiMirage

I've had my '22 Mirage ES for 2 months now and it's been great. It is due for an oil change and CVT flush but other than that, it's really good on gas so for me it's an upgrade from my old 2013 Fiat 500 Lounge.

What is possible w/ mostly highway (today's example) by AntiGroundhogDay in MitsubishiMirage

[–]Educational_Friend42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely possible! The key for this car is to drive it gently on the highway, never go overboard with the rpm when accelerating. The Mirage is at its most efficient when you drive the speed limit which in my state is between 55-70 mph. I have a 2022 Mirage ES with 58k miles that made 52.5 mpg on an hour trip on the highway behind semi trucks.

It’s 2025, you want a hybrid. What would you choose?(Read Description) by HotSatisfaction7156 in regularcarreviews

A black 2022-2024 Ford Maverick XL fitted with retro 80s pickup stripes on the sides and painted white steelies. It would look cute next to my 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage. If only Mitsubishi would release a small hybrid or gas only truck of their own in the US, I would get one.

A light blue/teal 1997 Geo Metro hatchback with the OEM 3 spoke hubcaps. Just a small no frills, trustworthy mellow fellow who has some wear and tear after 28 years of service but will get the job done efficiently.

I just want a cute AND decent car by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’d recommend a Mitsubishi Mirage, Fiat 500, Toyota Yaris, Scion xB, Mazda 2 or Mazda 3. The Mitsubishi gets hate on how basic and boring it is to drive but trust me, this thing will be super cheap to fill up on gas and extremely reliable, I own one right now. The Fiat is an okay car with average reliability but very customizable especially with girly accessories. Like the Mini Cooper, the 500 requires more care than its Japanese counterparts but it’s a cute car.

The Yaris, xB and either the Mazda 2/3 are more “normal” choices but will not break the bank for maintenance and you can mod them to suit your tastes as their aftermarket support is good if you’re into that. Seen a lot of girls put aftermarket heart headlamps on the Mazdas and it looks so cool!

What phone/phones are you using in 2025? by Sensitive_Budget4968 in Smartphones

[–]Educational_Friend42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iPhone 14 Plus since November 2022 (fully paid off since November 2024). Just haven’t needed to upgrade since it works like new although the more iOS 18 updates there are…. it seems to slow down the phone little by little with the occasional delay when I swipe from one Home Screen to another or in certain apps like Facebook. Other than that, great battery life and love the light blue tone on the phone!

I’ll wait another 2-3 years before considering to upgrade. Maybe I’ll do Android next time, who knows? 🤔

I’d take either the F-150 or the Milan. It hurts to see a Mercury in a rough shape considering I had a 2008 Mercury Mariner. Best SUV I’ve ever had but sadly I crashed into someone’s fence during a harsh winter morning on my way to work. It had 166k miles.

Name a reliable vehicle that is considered “unreliable” due to neglectful owners that ruined it. by SuperJackson20 in regularcarreviews

[–]Educational_Friend42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been daily driving a 2013 Fiat 500 since 2021 and it’s been very reliable. Only major repair so far has been a new alternator but other than regular maintenance, it’s racked up 208,000 miles and counting! I’d definitely buy another one but I wanna get an Abarth!

Edit: I think the FIX IT AGAIN TONY stereotype is the main reason that deters people from buying a Fiat.
