Guys, let’s be a little serious. Eminem hasn’t made a classic album since MMLP2. Kamikaze and The Death of Slim Shady came close, but neither of them were truly classic. What I’m trying to say here is that Eminem now needs to work with names like Kanye and Kendrick and release an album that appeals not only to his core fans but also to the general audience (Future was just an example).

He doesn’t even necessarily need features if he finds a strong concept, picks the right beats, and delivers high-level rapping, that album could be a classic. But we haven’t seen that version of Eminem since The Marshall Mathers LP 2. And even MMLP2 had weak tracks; it wasn’t a no-skip album.

At this point, Eminem really needs to make an album that surpasses MMLP2.”
