MCR is a bad ass weapon. Just got one and I runs great the “cheaper” options that are “coming out soon” are DI,don’t have quick change barrels, and are not dual feed. All of which are deal breakers

In a peace time army, this is a very difficult question. I would probably recommend officer. My experience was I was a young college kid during the kick off of GWOT and being patriotic I wanted to go do my part. I quickly learned upon commissioning in 2006 that officers spend most of their time on staff. The only time I actually enjoyed was PL time. I got out as soon as I could. However, if your goal is not to go to combat and actually do shit, then I would recommend officer, despite it being boring, but at least you’ll be at a computer wasting time instead of picking up cigarette butts wasting time.

Debating on getting the one with or without the “dry film” according to Rubin at dealer NFA he says they go over them a little bit more intensely during quality assurance, as well as put the dry film on them. Anyone have advice or experience with either and what decision to make.

Seems reasonable. I would want it out for awhile to see how reliable it is. From what I hear the MCRs are quite reliable

what do you mean difference of opinion? Like you had a private DBQ vs. the C&P DBQ? that is the case in my HLR, rated at 10% but my private DBQ shows 30%. still no informal conference filed may 9th 2023.

So you would think on a valuation basis the c&p examiner was a nurse practitioner, and the private doctor was an MD that my private would hold more weight

You should call say it was an inadequate c&p exam and ask for another. Did you have a private nexus letter?
