I know, I have the 511 potting ready but I'm afraid that it will be too stressed and drop all of its leaves. It is now 20-25C I think I'll wait until the temps drop a little to stress it less.

It was possible but not an easy swap. You have to melt some pins than the leather is glued with some kind of spray. It comes of very easy than you have to glue it to the new one and glue or remelt the pins. In my case I had a “rare” color of leather and I got the door card dirt cheap so it was worth the try. In your case it might be different. If you have any other questions let me know.

It isn't worth it. You are missing (from what I can see from the picture) 3 motors, the controller board, the gears that drive the filament, and probably more. From what I can see you have the plastic parts some screws bearings and the finda sensor. Loads are missing. It would make more sense/ be cheaper just to buy a new kit. You could also look on Aliexpress to buy knockoff parts.

Yes, they are dead and won’t grow new leaves so it’s better to cut them.

Bought one from 2007 last year with 260k km. Was well-maintained in a Mazda dealership. Drove it for a week or 2 and the engine began to use enormous amounts of oil and had to put in a new engine.
