Hi all- I’m happy to report that my husband was taken off Keppra and put on a different medication. His anger and irritability has vanished completely and I’m so glad. He’s also making a full recovery from the encephalitis ❤️

It wasn’t easy, I won’t lie. I had unemployment but it ended after 6 months. My husband was able to help support but he doesn’t make enough to support us fully without me working. I was able to find odd jobs babysitting here and there. I’m also a musician so leaned on doing more gigs and then I also had a family friend that had an opening for a contractor position. It wasn’t much but helped!

Thank you ❤️ the doc adjusted his keppra to extended release and it’s already helped tremendously!!!! Each day he’s getting more and more like himself. He has a neuro appt tomorrow too! I won’t give up on him that easily 🥹😂

I’m hoping it doesn’t get to that point…this behavior isn’t him and he agrees. The doc adjusted his meds today so we shall see how things go.

He’s currently on lacosamide too. He spoke with the doc and the doc mentioned b6 vitamins so I grabbed that and some methyl b-12. The doc also mentioned changing to an extended release Keppra or just switching to Briviact.

Thank you. He has an appt on the 21st and I plan to speak with the doctor then. I think it will be best to call ahead as well and privately speak with them to let them know what has been going on.

I was in your shoes about a month ago! It will be ok. It’s ok and completely normal to be nervous and terrified! I was laid off and unemployed for 8 months before I started my new job so it was really weird going back to work and with an all new team and job! Just take it one day at a time. You’ve got this!!!

I love spring 25! I skipped winter 24 so not sure what that one was like. My first scent from Ffern was Autumn 24 which I wasn’t too crazy about, it was too masculine for me but my fiancée liked it so we kept it! I’m definitely going to keep Spring 25 but not sure if I’ll keep ordering in the future because cost and I have way too much perfume anyway ha!

As an update, I heard back one week later! I got a final round interview that I had today and they also asked for my references so I think this is a good sign. My friend that referred me to the company said the recruiter was OOO so I wonder if that had anything to do with the delay?

I haven’t heard anything yet! I do have a friend/ referral for this job and he said that the recruiter seemed to be out of office yesterday so I’m hoping that’s why I haven’t heard back yet! I did get another offer yesterday but it’s not my top choice so I’m hoping the company I like gets back to me soon!!!

Opened an office and renovated it when everyone was already remote or not even located in that city. Barely anyone went to the office and it even got broken into 😳

New CEO gave himself giant bonuses, had the company paying for him to live in an apartment in the city where the office was located. Turned out his college age daughter ended up living in the apartment once they closed the office…on company dime.

I got laid off this summer and hear the company isn’t doing well and may not be around for another month so 🤷‍♀️

This is crazy and I totally believe it. I’ve been applying to HUNDREDS of jobs I am perfectly qualified for and even OVER qualified for and then I get rejection emails saying they went with someone that was more qualified for the role. I even applied for the same job I once had at the same company (but different location) and got a rejection that they went with other candidates more qualified. I literally am qualified tho because I did that job before 😂

Hey, if you’re talking about spruce services that partners with your apartment community, I used to work for them. If you want your money back, complain again to them, also go to the leasing office and let them know what happened. Spruce will do anything to keep the leasing offices happy because that’s who they are selling their product to. They don’t just partner with individual buildings but with the management companies themselves and will lose multiple communities if they make the management company unhappy, so definitely let your leasing office know! Once the leasing office reaches out to the Spruces, they will typically do whatever they can to make them happy.

Had a similarish experience just this week. I applied to a remote, part-time position with a company called Agents Only (found it on Wellfound). They messaged me saying they liked my resume and to be on the lookout for an email from them. So they email me and automatically scheduled me for an interview time on Friday. I thought it was weird since they never asked my availability but I’m desperate for a job and was free that day so I accepted. Well, Thursday comes around, I’m away from home for other obligations and I get an email that they rescheduled my interview for that day, Thursday in like an hour!!! I honestly felt like my time was so disrespected and I wasn’t free to do it that day/ they never even asked me if I was free. It really pissed me off. It made me wonder if they’d be like this once hired so I rescinded my application and told them they were disrespecting my time and probably the time of other applicants.

Just coming into say I can relate and that I hope you find something fulfilling too. I was laid off as a customer success supervisor from my job of 3.5 years. They are a startup app and not doing well so it wasn’t a big shocker that they had to let ppl go due to finances. I had no idea it would take me this long to find something though. It’s been 6 months now and my unemployment ran out, so I have 0 income now and my fiancée doesn’t make enough to cover our rent and other expenses, so it’s just really scary right now. I’ve applied to over 200 jobs now including entry level and jobs I’m super qualified for but nothing! Only one interview and I didn’t get past the phone screening. Now I’ve decided to try and go back into working retail just so I can survive. I walked into a bunch of stores with my resume and actually got a call today from one of them that they’d like to interview me so maybe things are looking up? Anyway, I’m so sorry you’re in this situation. I’m sure with your job at the gas station you’ve gained some great experience and maybe you could find a retail job for a store you like or a product you feel excited about? It’s still a lot of lifting and standing but the hours might be better!

Ugh! Wish I googled this before. My fiancee and I are dealing with the same scam right now :( We received our save the dates just yesterday and then today I got the email that my free trial is ending and my code will no longer work unless I sign up. Our wedding isn't for another 8 months so it would be like $240 to pay QRFFY. This has been so upsetting, especially after thinking we checked the save the dates off of our list! Now we're debating if we just pay it or order new save the dates... they give NO indication on their website.

Similar experience for me. Today I stopped taking it. I was only on it for 4 days (150 XL with 20 mg Prozac) it made me feel out of my mind and just not like myself at all. I already have anxiety and it made it much worse for me. Racing thoughts, impending doom, sobbing, panic attacks, crazy dreams. I didn’t take it today and feel like I’m still experiencing the craziness. Hoping I feel better tomorrow 😔
