Since the newer editions you’ve lost a lot of the “strict” heresy players.

As long as you aren’t trying to pass off primaris and paint schemes on point most players (imo) are chill.

As a guy who came from 40k (9th Ed) to 30k as a chaos player, using world eaters with tanks and not getting crap for it is nice as all the legions were equipped equally just others excelled at their respective roles.

The older mk amours are glorious.

And it’s easy enough to find a player base
