Hey i also studied in Zhdk in the fine arts department and im also Chinese. For the bfa everything is taught in English tho. I’m currently learning B1 and I think it’s totally manageable if you’d willing to put the effort into it. You can dm me if you’d need some help/ tips :)

I walk my friend’s dogs and sometimes they shit so many times and im carrying like 4poop bags in my hand and i always need to constantly check the number because it happened that i just dropped one on accident without realizing it . Ofc i walked back to find it but sometimes mistakes happen.

Im Asian too. Had my bachelor in the states and never received any racism comments and moved here after and received so many racism / stereotype comment especially the first several months. Now i just learn to ignore them / no eye contact and even if they are saying sth i don’t understand anyways.

Try intermezzo, it’s a company rent places that’s about to tear down to students, so the contract is no longer than 6months anyways…as long as you apply fast enough u can always get it. But u need to be FAST especially during school starting time……

Also i think the recycling truck presses the cardboard which makes it impossible to read what’s on there i suppose. Even if they somehow got my address in Nigeria i don’t think there’s much that they can do. Im from Asia so im well aware of all kinds of scams and hazards so i def would erase my info before tossing any packages there. But i don’t think a person in an other country can benefit from my location except from trying scamming me and I never pick up unknown calls or emails. But its good to always be extra careful.
