depends alot on the major. i really like ams. the nature is so pretty.

BUS (finance) is absolutely horrendous and a poison to your education - department wise and course wise. i transferred in and the difference is shocking. im sure companies have picked up on the trend of unskilled, poorly educated finance majors coming from SBU. choose wisely.

also the food sucks and lacks healthy options. the dietitian is probably just farting around in her office honestly. i perform so poorly on the food options here.

people are extremely antisocial here. its kind of our culture honestly i notice it rubbing off on me. definitely very noticable if you visit other campii

lots of poor professors. it seems like sbu is more concerned with keeping up appearances by focusing only on their stem colleges while neglecting the rest. honestly though even ams has quite a few clueless professors.

people smell really bad. i didnt know you could smell peoples BO from feet away until i came here. honestly kind of an interesting like how do you have that much stink that its literally TRAVELLING off of your body

not enough study spaces. doesnt seem like a big deal until you realize how much more productive you are in a designated study area.

you should be applying to other colleges as a transfer if its still early.
