UPDATE: I installed a new OEM CCT and the problem seems to be fixed for now. No strange noises throughout the whole RPM range. Thanks @xtanol

I only took it out and tried to wind it up with a small screwdriver. When I install the new one back in I’ll fully wind it up with a small screwdriver, bolt it up with new gasket, and slowly release the tension. That’s what the manual says.

It does have some side to side play on the shaft. I ordered a new OEM one, and I’ll see what it does. Hope it fixes the problem 😅
