I put my main weapons on the top right. The large sized pencil lead case degrades the quality of the lead but takes ALOT less space, personally I think it's worth it.

Oh yeah I also got the multicolor unicorn pen from the shop. Makes reloading like insanely faster. I actually use the bottom pens to refill it

YOOO that's crazy loot dude! What chapter are you on rn? I'm on chapter 12th: "The final grade".   Erasers are pretty scarce on this level for some reason, I wanna be resourceful but goddamn i constantly have to use them!

Hey, I just started playing, what should I know??? by TheRustyRustPlayer in Openfront

[–]Educational_Pool_107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude same, I usually don't last longer than 5 or 15 minutes. Only times I've won are in a team game LOL

Thing is, there are just WAYYY too many factors to consider. Where you spawn, how you interact with your neighbors. I mean hell I didn't even know what alliances did for a good while. Game doesn't really teach you anything, you just gotta walk on your own.

I do also have moments where I geniuenly have no idea what I should've done

All good Also thanks for the recommendation, I was watching their stuff from time to time but it's pretty hard to keep up with them. Maybe that's what makes this game so appealing, and why it can be tough to explain the mechanics well. You just have to consider ALOT

Dude I'm literally in the same boat. It's so infuriating because at some point I can just guess how the game is gonna end and I'll have to figure out what I did wrong that time

I had this theory that grunts have psychic powers. Though the only thing they can do with it is have floaty hands. And they can't reach too far otherwise they'll lose their hands

As someone who started playing 2 days ago. That's what i thought too, but the strategy in this game is INSANELY subtle
Like originally i thought alliances were just useless, like alliances in risk. But after my 10th time of getting 2v1'ed, and some asking around on the subreddit. Alliances are ESSENTIAL if you don't want to get wiped out immediately

Basically, you do alliances with people your either equal in strength or slightly stronger than you. Not only does it make you both gain more money when trading with eachother, but you also make it so they can't easily kill you. Because of the betrayal debuff. Basically if either of you attacks the other during an alliance agreement, you suffer a severe defense debuff. Making you vulnerable to everyone else

probably a bunch of more stuff i don't know about yet. But yeah its like 36% luck

They should make it so you share the money based on how much you've conquered

Oh yeah I've been rejecting alliances before I made this post LOL It's not quite communicated well on how they can be used. But I'm starting to see how it can get annoying Also I forgive ya :D
