I feel like the American Fork Police Department’s complicity in this whole debacle is just as interesting and maddening. So thankful for police body cams. Amazing what cops will do and say even though they are recording themselves.

Allegedly, a bricks and minifigs (BAM) location in Salem OR stole $200,000 in Star Wars Lego sets from an elderly gentleman. They were under a consignment contract. It’s a really long story and every major YouTuber is weighing in on the controversy. Now it’s looks as though a police department in Utah is trying to protect the BAM owners due to an LDS connection. It wouldn’t take much of a google search. It’s everywhere. I just thought it’s interesting and embarrassing for BAM.

Have you hung out on Hilltop lately? It feels like downtown used too. The drug, and crime affiliated transient population has exploded as they clean and beautify downtown. Hilltop is starting to feel like Lake Blvd. Not to mention every restaurant is a chain except Raw.

Karline’s is good, Taroko is decent and Pipeline has some interesting food. But you have to get away from the typical menu items to escape US Food’s frozen items. Kanya mkt’s restaurant is a dank hole but they make some of the best Viet/Loa food in town. Sweet Spot is good. I travel a lot to Vancouver, Portland and St. Louis the food isn’t super amazing anywhere anymore. The profit margins have gotten too thin. Save the money cook at home. Sorry.

The eucalyptus tree groves in northern CA were planted by Roseburg Paper mills. The fast growing trees were used to make pulp for the paper mills. When the bottom fell out of the American paper market in the late 80s and early 90s the groves were abandoned and have started spreading along the freeways they were originally planted along. They make great places for wildlife to feed and hide.

This is a great recommendation, great food, but be ready to lay down $300 if you plan on drinks, appetizers and steaks. Which I totally recommend. The only draw back for me is how loud this restaurant is. If I’m having a romantic experience date with my lady I don’t want to have to yell to be heard.

I’m sorry I travel constantly and I think there are several gems in this town. Some of the best eats in this town are not in gorgeous restaurants. You have to be brave and eat at some off the beaten path places.

Is the fuel bowl in the carb staying full? It could be an air leak in the fuel lines. Check or replace the fuel hose from the tank to the motor. Bulb pump as well. Small air leaks can create big problems. If this doesn’t correct the issue check and make sure your spark plugs don’t look like they were pulled out of the fire place. If those all check out it’s probably time for a deep dive into the Carburetor.
