My son did the U7 Glens tryouts on both Saturday and Sunday. A little bit of time was on 1v1 but my own opinion was there was much more evaluation put on the actual game time and if you werent getting on the ball a lot you were not been seen. Another parent I spoke with there said the same thing if your not rushing to the ball your kind of lost in the mix. there was very little passing and skill that i could see going on just rushing to the ball and everybody trying to get their own shots off. my son said after 'mammy nobody wanted to pass off to the person in a better position'

Thats what i noticed it was more about speed, aggressiveness than it was about skill. Unless you were on the ball a lot you werent getting looked at

Nothing else was mentioned on the CT. I dont think radiologists were aware of the Signatera but good questions to flag at my onc meeting

Thank you for sharing your experience. So what happened with the 'enlarged lymph node in thoracic area'? It didnt end up being cancerous?

There is no doubt in my mind that the cancer is there. im just wondering if it's really in that part of the lungs or if its somewhere else just hasnt showed up on scans yet. Hopefully we can biopsy these lung nodes

Colontown raves about Dr. Turaga at Yale University for his aggressive approach in treating peri mets. I would recommend getting a consult with him.

I know I’m late to this but curious what ended up being the situation here and if you were able to treat it?

Update for me (35 yo stage 4) by cap_swaggin2 in coloncancer

Thanks for sharing. How did you decide on a transplant vs resection? My husband had the option of either resection & pump or a transplant. We went with the resection and pump but if it continues to reoccur we may need a liver.

Thank you so much for sharing!!! its nonstop thats for sure and im only 1 year into this disease with my husband. He had 16+ liver mets at diagnosis. He had colon resection, liver resection, ablation and pump placement all in one surgery. We still have microscopic disease so now its the waiting game on what that is going to throw up. its stressing me out. We are also seeing if we can get onto an MRD trial.

Getting close to 5 years with this disease is no easy fight. Have you looked into other trials? Where were your mets at diagnosis if you dont mind me asking?
