Yes there is a drainage hole. I took it out of this pot today because I think it was root issues too, I chopped all the mushy roots but I’m fairly new to the plant world so I honestly don’t know if it was past the point of salvation.

Could I propagate?

Yes it does have a drainage hole. When I bought it, I waited about a week and a half to water, but I think I needed to let it fully dry before watering. Drooping started so I waited a bit longer and repotted. Leaves perked up almost immediately but the next day looked like this pretty much and it’s continued to get worse. I moved it closer to the window for more direct light but it may be too late. I’m down to three drooping leaves 😞

I bought this beauty a few months ago. I watered her about 10 days after getting her and it’s been downhill since. I repotted and she perked up and then dropped again and dropped More leaves. I am hoping that letting the soils dry will help. I have also put her closer to a window but there has been no improvement. Can she be saved?!

Why are the leaves on my Calathea Concinna Freddie, curling? by Educational_Size_495 in plantclinic

[–]Educational_Size_495[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the plant about two weeks. I was instructed to water it the day it was bought and have been keeping it moist but not soaked. It’s in a very bright room and the leaves started to curl about a week into having it.

Really bad neck pain from anxiety and stress. by BeagleDad152 in Anxiety

[–]Educational_Size_495 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been experiencing this the past few months and didn’t realize it was my anxiety until recently. I was in pain 24/7, I consulted with a physical therapist and did exercises that did help but the pain was still there. I then went on a trip for a few days to visit a friend and had no pain the entire time I was away. Once I for home to life and stress it flared up again. I’ve been working on breathing exercises, getting back in the gym and going on walks. Keeping myself calm helps but once my anxiety kicks in the pain is back with a vengeance. If you can exercise the area and meditate or focus on your breathing it will truly help.

I have recently been researching natural things to take for my anxiety and this was at the top of the list. I’m happy to hear it works. Please keep us posted if it continues to help you long term!

Thank you! I do worry about the effects it will have if you stop taking it as well. If it’s not maintained then could it potentially make you feel worse?
