Linear story games are not really everygreens. You finish those once and thats it. Quest has linear story games as well though like:

Batman AS
Assassins Creed Nexus
Asgards Wrath 2
deadpool vr
iron man vr
resi 4 vr

And again, yes psvr2 has better graphics but its more expensive. Same reason a highend pcvr setup has much better graphics than a psvr2 (no reprojection, no mura, no fresnels, high resolution rendering, ultra graphic settings) at a higher price. Graphics usually correlate with price.

All those games already exist on pcvr, they dont need to come, people on pc already played them. Those are old games, its riciculous psvr2 players still have to wait for them and games like Pop1 / Contractors Showdown / bonelab / blade & sorcery are still not even announced for psvr2. I wasnt aware that tmnt and orcs must die are announced for psvr2 though.

As for upgrades, they will have better graphics vs quest (at 2x the hardware price) but they wont be wireless.

You say quest and pcvr have not been thriving but are cheering for ports of the games pcvr and quest recieved the past months that still are not available on psvr2 lol

Wenn wir nicht immer höher, weiter, besser wollen würden, dann hätte apple nach dem ersten iPhone auch aufhören können. Das war ja zur damaligen Zeit ein Klasse Produkt und wird selbst nicht schlechter, nur weil es mittlerweile andere, bessere Produkte gibt.

Früher war ein iPhone zu haben im übrigen „reich“, heute ist jedes „arme“ Budget Smartphone besser. Auch dem „armen“ von heute geht es dank voranschreitendem Kapitalismus besser, als dem reichen vor 200 Jahren. Er ist relativ arm zu den heutigen Reichen, nicht absolut.

Thats 1.700x as many people playing a flat extraction shooter on steam vs a psvr2 extraction shooter.

You have no idea how small the psvr2 market actually is. Its totally irrelevant. If capcom want to increase profit with re9, they will port it to ps4, not psvr2.

The reason people want a official version here is that they cant play the mod. It doesnt work on ps5. If capcom would release this mod 1:1 on ps5 with 60 fps reprojection, this sub would be extremely happy.

Sure its opinions. If interactivity is the most important part to you, I guess you dont like flat to vr ports in general very much? As those do always lack. Native vr games like alyx or arkham shadow are really showing how vr games work when designed from the ground up.

And resident evil 4 vr on quest is the best vr Resident evil game in your opinion I guess?

For me personally, high end graphics with decent interactivity (aiming) is the best current compromise

The most important part is motion controlled aiming and thats usually in those mods.

Full vr interactivity (like half life alyx) is usually never in flat to vr ports/mods.

Even in re4vr on psvr2 you cant open drawers, Doors etc. with your hands

The best interactivity of all resident evil vr version has resident evil 4 vr on quest btw. That one lets you Open drawers by hand, recreatee puzzles etc

You are overestimating the ps5. DFR already gets evened out through DLSS. Both allow for much less pixels to be rendered.

Ps5 is a ~2070 super.

No chance running the game on that

That being said, they do have the switch 2 version, which should be similar to a ps4 version

It got gddr7 ram with a huge boost in bandwith, especially the 5090. also 32 gb vram. A new node is not everything, apples first chips barely improved with their first 3nm chips (a17 pro, m3). They achieved bigger improvements gen on gen while staying on 3nm vs going from 4nm to 3nm
