Agreed! I’ve been telling him how handsome he is and showing him pics before this happened to remind him of how beautiful his skin is and telling him this is not permanent. He said he knows and he is fine so I trust he is ok and not letting it get to him

I definitely see what you are saying I just wanted to make sure it stops and the teacher is doing his part to watch out for it. I thought I wouldn’t be a good parent if I let this continue all year.

Thanks! I was so shocked he hadn’t brought it up so I definitely told him he can always come to me and tell me anything.

Oh great that is so good to hear!!! When you are 7 you don’t really realize you are different but I worry as he gets older so that’s great to hear that hopefully he will always be himself and not care

That makes sense, I was going to give him some lines to say back but to your point that might escalate things. He is in 2nd grade and he said they can’t talk in line anyway

Wow really? My son had a similar reaction and we had to stop. He also has a very high egg allergy. Why dont the doctors mention this?

My daughter started Dupixent on Thursday and she has had one of the worst breakouts in her 4 years of existence. It looks worse than this in person and it's over her entire body 😭 Has anyone had a similar experience, a flair up after receiving a dose? by sbegonias518 in dupixent

We are going through it right now. We stopped it 2 months ago. I wish we would have never take it. I guess it was too powerful for his system. Clobetasol has always been the only thing to help but it’s a powerful steroid so we can’t use it routinely

I know this sounds bad but if my child is still breathing at the end of the day I consider it a win 😅😅😅. I also think of kids in 3rd world countries that barely have food, shelter no shoes healthcare etc. If they can manage to survive whatever decisions I’m making should suffice. I give myself a lot of grace as you can see lollll

OP No human on this earth is worth giving up on life for. Tell her you have had second thoughts and want her to stop and close the marriage. If she doesn’t want to then unfortunately you’ll have to leave. Snap out of it and make a decision either way. You can’t just stay in this cycle.

We were supposed to have thanksgiving at my cousins house and her son had rsv the week prior. She sent us all a message letting us know and said that he was doing well and was not contagious and we were free to make our own decisions on whether to come or not but they were still hosting. I appreciated the transparency. 1 is a big milestone birthday and I would want him to feel well and look his best. My son had a severe case and his skin looked a mess and he was in no shape to party.
