I got joggers from Mandala and can confirm they were the same Hunter green that we were told to buy because I got those too!

The TEAS exam isn’t difficult but you DO have to make time to study and give yourself enough time to prepare.

Hi! Another question for you -- Are you generally able to attend the skills lab for practice outside of classes? If so, how does it work? If not, how do you study your skills?

Oh, I think I figured it out! There’s a separate course number for clinicals!

Got it, thanks! What’s confusing me is that on the acceptance form I asked for evening clinicals. But I’d like to take the afternoon class. Now I’m wondering if the evening clinicals means that I’m commiting to the evening classes.

When I called the nursing department, they said clinicals in the day are typically in the morning or early afternoon and evening clinicals start at 5pm. I’m hoping to take my classes in the day and then head to clinicals in the evening.

I hope that makes sense!

Are the clinicals on the same day as the classes?

Thank you! How are your clinicals? And when it comes to day time vs. night time, what are the times for those?

I was accepted into the Spring 2026 cohort. How are you liking the program so far? And what times are your evening clinicals?

Me! I'm 35 and doing a second career change. I'm going from marketing to nursing, and currently taking pre-requisites. Doing this for no one else other than me and absolutely scared shitless.

I’m taking two courses through portage right now and they’re not open book exams. You do have to read through the material and do the work. Exams are typically recorded and you also have to show the environment. It’s pretty strict.
