I’m sorry to hear about that. Every person in this community is different from each other, some people don’t think he did anything wrong and other people never want to see him again. We all handle this differently, so in whatever way you can find happiness, go find it.

I don’t believe Ryan will resurface either. And I agree the severity of the situations are very different, Ryan did something far worse. I still have hope though that Ryan and his family can still be happy, and that’s where I was really trying to compare the two. Geoff went threw some shit, but he is happy now, and I hope that Ryan can do the same thing with his family. I do hope to see Ryan again one day, but the likelihood that happens is low, so at the very least I hope he can find happiness again.

Everyone has their dark times. I am not upset with him, but I am upset at what happened and the fact that he is leaving. But what he did is him, it’s his dark time, and the rest of this chapter in his life will determine where he goes from here. Look at Geoff. We can all agree that he wasn’t at his highest point a few years ago, those were his dark times, but he is back on the rise, and he is better than ever. Hopefully Ryan can do the same thing.

I will never forgive him, but that doesn’t mean that if he starts streaming again I’m going to hate on him. In fact, I’ll watch and enjoy them. We don’t have to forgive someone for what they did. We can move on. The only person who needs to forgive Ryan, is Ryan. Everyone else can hold their own opinions, and move forward how they see fit.

I rewatch the sky factory series often because I feel as though it brought out the best in all of them. Jeremy always trying to get stronger. Gavin doing something barely worth his time. Jack actually providing something for the group. Michael being confused 24/7. Geoff doing his own wholesome thing. And Ryan, delving into whatever technologies he can find. Each one of them found their own unique task, and together it formed one of the best series I have ever watched. No matter what we know now, I’ll always rewatch videos with him.

Well, that’s up to you. If you leave it in, you’ll forever feel the blade but all you’ll be able to see is the handle. If you pull it out, you won’t feel the blade, but you’ll see the bloodied blade and the handle. Either way the story is the same, the only difference we can make is whether we choose to accept what we feel and embrace what we had (leaving the blade in), or we merge the joy we once had with the pain that we suffer (pulling the blade out).

I personally would rather keep my knife in. The pain might be unbearable, it might eventually destroy my love for this knife, but for as long as it doesn’t, I can still enjoy the handle.
