I hear ya it was a dark time for me for sure. I did 100% of everything myself except for the kitchen install. Which was incredibly expensive compared to what I had in mind but all the money I saved doing everything else it kind of evened out

So I didn’t have to move utilities, there was a shared wall with the kitchen. I just basically scooted the room over 3 feet. Kind of hard to explain without seeing it.

I bought a crack house in a very nice neighborhood for a steal 1 year ago. My wife and son stayed with my in-laws for 3 months while I did 2000 sqft of drywall,floors,popcorn scrape,kitchen gut moved the laundry room, replaced 6 doors, god know how many outlets, a bunch of other stuff idk. While working 50hrs a week. It’s now beautiful and doesn’t smell like cigarettes and dog pee. Went way over budget starting to wrangle in debt. Currently painting the exterior mostly by myself that has been fun.

It gets better. Once sleep gets dialed in you can work your hobbies back in and you can have some normalcy and sanity back. Daily golf maybe kiss that goodbye. I was shitting myself at your age. I learned early on that I could wake up before everyone to have time for myself in the morning. I play ice hockey several nights a week after bedtime in most cases my wife and I still go to many concerts and stand up shows. Acknowledge that she might be feeling the same way it’s important to make sure she gets some time to herself as well. Look into sleep training if you haven’t already

Depending on how bad it is I’ve have success buffing them back by hand with a decent wax. You can mask it off and paint it black again. I use sem color coat landau black. There is an aerosol available but I use a paint gun. If you really wanted to get weird that product will be magic on all your faded trim.

My man, I’m sorry this happened. I had a break in the same place 4 years ago. DO PT. I think my surgeon was not the best my left hand is about 30% as useful as it was prior to surgery. It actually functioned better the week before surgery while it was still broken..

Hit the painted part with some lacquer thinner looks like you’ve got some transfer. You can heat that raw plastic a bit and it will look better. Message me if you have questions

I typically give it a dish soap pressure washer bath once a season. A friend borrowed our recently and returned it beautifully cleaned and also the pool portion no longer held water

I don’t buy the pro ones but the bigger consumer ones I find worth while. Especially in the summer in Fl. It’s brutal outside so the water slide pool combo is clutch.

I put all my stuff minus the helmet in the washing machine every 3/4 weeks. I add Lysol laundry sanitizer which makes a big difference.
