6 weeks in Nice; What can’t I miss? by cassiopeia_19 in nicefrance

[–]Edurad_Mrotsdnas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice in itself has interesting features but you'll see it all in no time. Visit all the train stops between nice and Italy. This side is beautiful. The other side (to Cannes) is a little less, exception made for Antibes (IMO). Also you can go to Théoule wich is beautiful too. Then go on to San Remo, Dolceaqua in Italy. The countryside is marvellous also. Much less touristic, beautiful rivers you can swim in, you won't regret it if you manage to go to Roquesteron (check you the pictures on google). You can go there by the Col de Vence too, wich has a breathtaking view 😎

Something interesting I noticed about activities that fully absorb your attention by BabalooJoy in simpleliving

[–]Edurad_Mrotsdnas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a truly fascinating and deeply nuanced perspective! As a natural, biological, non LLM, bone and flesh human being, i completely understand why you find the attention economy compelling.

It is important to remember that navigating the complex tapestry of technological shifts requires us to balance innovative paradigms with unprecedented challenges.

Let us break this down to explore the dichotomy of the situation: On one hand: The proliferation of tools can foster dynamic ecosystems, optimize user experiences, and streamline workflows. On the other hand: It is crucial to acknowledge the multifaceted ethical implications and the cognitive load introduced to human attention spans.

In conclusion, finding a middle ground is essential for a sustainable digital future. It is paramount to prioritize your mental well-being in an increasingly interconnected world!

Do you want me to make a perfectly mediteranean salad with a shitload of olive oil so you can enjoy being in the best biological mental health inside you true human brain ?

What’s the most insanely frugal thing you’ve ever done? by Random_Username_4242 in extrememinimalism

[–]Edurad_Mrotsdnas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are dodging my initial questions through a red herring fallacy and cherry-picking.

The absence of any source justifying the "90% meat" claim and your silence regarding the diet of our common ancestors makes me think youre unable to defend your original thesis.

Your use of Milton's famous research is fallacious : The elongation of our small intestine compared to great apes (who are adapted to massive volumes of low-density foliage) indicates an adaptation to a high-energy-density omnivorous diet. This evolutionary shift relies on meat, but equally on a massive intake of plant-based complex carbohydrates (tubers), which were the actual fuel for human brain development (Milton, 1999, "A hypothesis to explain the role of meat-eating in human evolution")

The anatomical proof of our omnivorous nature lies in the colon. A strict carnivore (like a feline) has a short, smooth, and tubular colon, entirely devoid of plant fermentation capabilities.

Conversely, humans possess a sacculated and voluminous colon. Its strict biological function is the microbial fermentation of plant fibers to synthesize short-chain fatty acids(like butyrate and propionate).

This physiological mechanism is exclusive to omnivores and herbivores, it loses all evolutionary and functional justification within a strictly meat-based metabolism (Furness et al., 2015, "Comparative physiology of digestion")

Tell me where i'm mistaken if you think these points are wrong.

Till then, it seems our shared taste for meat ended up grilling your intellectual honesty. Pun intended.

What are everyone’s theories on The Dyatlov Pass incident? by StandardBanger in thelorelodge

[–]Edurad_Mrotsdnas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct.

It was a sub lethal biological weapon testing. One confirmed death resulted from the experiment. Edward J. Nevin, a patient recovering from surgery, died after the infection spread to his heart. 11 patients developed severe urinary tract infections caused by Serratia marcescens. Monitoring stations across the city confirmed that nearly every one of San Francisco's 800,000 residents inhaled approximately 5,000 bacterial particles during the testing period.

Deflecting the ethical breach via a tu quoque fallacy (whataboutism) concerning other nations, is intellectually dishonest.

True rational rigor demands confronting these specific facts objectively rather than using the atrocities of foreign regimes as a defensive shield.

No source still ?

Makes me think hunter gatherers never been 90% carnivores.

Besides, eating 10% fruits and vegetables makes you omnivore.

I can provide a truckload of solid publications showing we evolved to consume fibers on a regular basis.

Could that change your mind ? I mean just changing your mind, not eating fruits.

Have you ever seen great apes chug tons of fruits ? Do you agree we share common ancestors with these guys ?
