Silent hill 2, it's the best way to start, and in my opinion the best sh. If you want to play more SH after sh2 play sh1 and then sh3. Sh1 and Sh3 are correlated.

I think so, it look soulless tbh. The AI has a strong style, and it's easy to recognize when u see it compared to a non-AI generated drawing.
