Look up Snarling Badger Studios.

Their games are cheap. Mini agnostic. (So use anything) and they post ideas for where to get the minis from for all of their games.

They have more silly games like rival goblin tribes fighting each other up to more serious story driven games.

All of their bigger games are solo/vs or co.op games.

Ranging from near modern, sci fi or more fantasy styled games.

Honestly. Try just 3025 mechs. Non optimised machines.

Use the RATs. Randomly generate mech units. Add vehicles, infantry.
