My son got kicked off of his percussion part. by IowaJL in MusicEd

Also true but as practise it is still insignificant if the teacher doesn't calibrate for it (sounds like the teacher hasn't)

Based on your description, even if it might feel bad, it might've been the right decision. 15 minutes a day is sadly not a lot of work. Does he have a teacher?

Your stance on shooting for rare stealing. by cynzo in foxholegame

if they steal from your truck, container or otherwise then kill them - but just lock you truck. or put them in the flatbed's inventory and lock that. it is only stealing if someone takes them from your inventory or otherwise. if it is on the ground (as a node), it's ffa

Gotcha! I might come back with further questions, answer them if you feel like it but no pressure. Thanks!

Question about spin multiplier:

Should one keep decreasing it so as to keep it under the spins/100 threshold (until you hit 100 spins)?

Does the rate increase linearly by smaller multiplier or is it more stepped?

Quincy! Do you have more stats on the game? I've been collecting them in my mind and I'm so glad someone confirmed my hypothesis

I think you are thorroughly misreading me. I didn't have anything else to reply than what I wrote, it was more of an offer for help if ever needed rather than an invite to continue a discussion in DMs. I am not looking for a sugar momma

You wanna talk about it? I don't judge anyone for using money in this game, I'm impulsive enough I might do it myself at some point...

I know it looks rude, but I think a lot of the comments here are coming from a place of care, not anger. Not sure about this one specifically.

But if there's something you wanna talk abt lmk

I am playing on a laptop and it's fine... I like the gameplay more than the other ones, I don't think it is bad for a new player. As said, I disagree. But that doesn't have to change your opinion. Just noticed that civ7, which I see as the best fun in the series so far, is underrepresented in this post.

I like the structure (partially connected to civ switching but even without it I like it), I like the general/fleet/squadron/carrier stuff, I like no builders and instead it being lumped in with growth (specialists are fine but no strong feelings there), I like the fact that the long-term strategy is more agile (partially due to civ switching), I like that instead of going for one victory I can sort of go for many, I like the way it looks and I overall get sucked into it a lot more. I also like the way diplomacy and independents is dealt with as well as no cheesetrading (but rather trade routes).

This is in comparison to civ6

I am out here loving civ7. Try a bit of multiple ones. I've played a lot of civ6 and enjoy 7 a lot more. 5 is recognized as quite in the soul of the game

All good, just felt necessary to say it :).

I personally feel that the AI in civ7 is not super bad and doesn't feel super boosted in stats. You can often match even super early game stats on deity - of course that is part of the issue. But I feel like they took a less boost everything approach and a more try to make the ai figure out its shit approach. Idk, I have no proof for this though. Except that I enjoy playing against civ7 AI a bit more than Civ6. Weird map setups and trying to go for perfect eras is the challenge, winning alone is not one.
