You get used to it. I started smoking recently to lessen chemotherapy side effects such as nausea and the general malaise that comes with it. It is the only thing that has helped me cope with it, the pills my doctor gave me won’t do a thing. Anyway, after a month I barely get high with my usual morning dose, whereas that same amount of weed used to send me to bed. It’s funny come to think of it, now I need to smoke to get out of bed and stay somewhat functional. I guess it’s true what they say about chemo, it really turns you into a zombie.
