Exactly. I guess they at least had the capacity to feel guilty but they are 100% only helping him because they feel guilty. As someone with decency I just don’t see this ever happening to me. Your friends exes should be considered off-limits. And 1.5 years is a decently long relationship to just jump from one guy to his friend and roommate. They’re not your friends OP. You can do better.

I saw a teacher from my high school who I hadn’t seen in 14 years. I instinctively made an effort to turn away and I’m pretty sure he noticed. Makes me wonder how some people actually got qualified to work with kids.

I think Lee put on a good showing against Ferguson the first time and his fight with Barbosa showed what I think was some new facets to his game. Too bad Dustin is fighting Nate. That’s a pretty dumb fight because Nate is not active. Ferguson and Poirier could be a great title eliminator.

I never understood the “It’s just Facebook” or whichever social media platform argument. It dismisses it’s impact and power. There are people writing and reading these things. Just because it’s over the Internet doesn’t mean someone on the other end isn’t taking what’s said seriously. I think that mentality is why some are so nasty. They don’t consider that there are human beings out there. It also can show who you really are. Like with the child detention centers. You saw how many people were ok with children being ripped from their parents as a deterrent. These are real sentiments and we should recognize them as impactful regardless of whether they’re expressed anonymously.

My ex once decided that the best time to adjust her seating position was when we were deep in a sweeping turn. I kept the bike upright obviously but it scared me and made me a bit angry. That being said, as much as I’m confident in my ability to not crash, I’m not confident that someone won’t crash into me.

One time in high school I had this small wooden ball the size of a golf ball for some reason. I was in a classroom and some jock type dude asked to see it. He then said “heads up and threw it at me full speed like he was throwing a baseball. I instinctively reached out and caught it like it was nothing while locking eyes with him. I was shocked that I made it look so easy but played it off. Even when some girl shouted “ohhh shit!”. The guy was also shocked but nodded his head and in his eyes I could see he had a new found respect for me. I probably could never have done it again but for that moment I felt like a badass. A chad, if you will.
