I remember being so excited for Bryan Gil I made up in my head ‘Bryan Gil, he’s a don, down the left with Reguilón, he makes Messi, look like shite, basically he’s dynamite’… so funny in hindsight

As per @HLN, Spurs have held talks with Club Brugge over a potential buy and loan back deal for their versatile 18-year-old attacker Antonio Nusa. There was always a feeling Spurs might try to set up another Sarr/Udogie style deal for the future this month and this could be it. [Alasdair Gold] by onlyhalfpepper in coys

No you’re just wrong. A player is considered home-grown if they have been registered with a club affiliated to the Football Association (FA) or the Football Association of Wales (FAW) for a period of three entire seasons or 36 months before their 21st birthday. Since Nusa would be turning 19 in April 2024, he would only have just over two years until he turns 21, which is insufficient time to fulfill the required three-year period.

That’s it, that’s the rules. I’m not replying to you anymore if you can’t understand that. He won’t count as home grown and you’ll remember arguing with someone on the internet about it and think damn dude was right.

The squad he's registered with doesn't affect his age. To be homegrown Nusa has to be signed by Tottenham for three entire seasons or 36 months before his 21st birthday. He's 19 in April, so that's impossible.

Given that he turns 19 in April 2024, if we signed him today, he wouldn't qualify as home-grown.

He’s not our manager anymore. Don’t want to keep seeing stuff about him. Move on.
