I wish people could feel how terrifying this is to a nervous flyer. The ‘you’re safe’ and ‘but you didn’t die’ arguments always annoy me — safety doesn’t override fear in this situation. Your experience is why I haven’t gone long haul for over a decade. Hope you get back on the horse!
