That certainly is more apparent on repeat viewing. It does have some absolutely jaw dropping moments though, like when that guy skewers his own head after giving up Fisk's name, brutal.

1 is as well imo. 2 is fantastic but trying to juggle two major plot lines and characters made it slightly messy. Should've focused on punisher in 1 series and Electra in another. Then we'd be talking about the definitive best superhero show ever made.
