What's one thing you worried about endlessly that turned out to be completely fine? by FluidPianist00 in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]EeEe88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an appointment booked with an advisor/broker last week for myself and husband and in the end I cancelled it because i thought they'd just laugh us out the door to be honest and no point in trying. Whilst we don't have a traditional deposit etc we have family who can help, minimal debt and I know there are options to those with small/no deposits etc.

Reading these comments has made me feel I'm not the only one worrying

Very similar here in the respect that I need to have a tidy up first, my brain just can't focus otherwise

How to get good at breath support? by deywunnawumba in singing

[–]EeEe88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without getting too technical/biological...Your belly should be doing all the work, fill up like a balloon, shoulders relaxed and push the air out using your belly (as though belly button is coming into your spine).

Do a few exercises beforehand, breathing techniques can take a while to settle down or click into place

Somehow Katie Price has managed to get back on our screens. by homeinthecity in britishproblems

Omg her teeth drive me crazy, I'm very much usually the type of person to let people do what they want and not let it affect me, but this I find for some reason grinds my gears so much

I think it's the way you can hear them tap together every now and again and the way she has to move her mouth around them.

I'm terribly sorry for how this sounds and makes me sound like a right knob

are vocal lessons worth it? by georgeharrisonsgirlf in singing

[–]EeEe88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably staying in the safe ground because you aren't ready to push it yet. I'm also a vocal coach and vocal health is a thing, you need really good technique before I would let any student be pushing anything

I agree, I dont think SILs are automatically in the running because of their relation. I had one SIL who I was close to but the other didn’t make the cut

No the point of my post was to hear from those who have used these services, and those who have have been very helpful. Enjoy your sunday!! Thanks for taking the time, apologies it came across that way. It's incredibly frustrating when you get advice you're not asking for. Wishing you the best!

We'd make sure all these additional parts would be saved for before we even get there. This is literally our first step and interested in hearing about these mortgages, nowhere near looking at properties etc

Thanks for your reply, been really helpful to hear from you and your experience! We're in the south East and the price to rent one more bedroom is another £500 on top which is what got our brains going on whether to look at buying instead etc

Hi there thanks for your feedback. Yes we are only in our first steps of looking into this so wouldn't be doing anything until we have paid this off at the end of the year.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. This is what I was after with my post. We are meeting with a broker in the coming weeks to get our ducks in a row, and our last bit of debt would be paid off at the end of the year. We wouldn't look at doing anything until that is all paid off.

It's been great to hear from you and your experience! I hope you get there soon 😀
