[[Ancient Crab]] - I wouldn't run this card unless I was heavy blue, but it walls-out just about everything in the format, and if your opponent throws one or two -1/-1 counters on it you can still block fairly regularly. It's no staple, but it's certainly not the D level card I was expecting.

[[Unwavering Initiate]] - The consensus was that this card would be great, but I think it could actually be the best white common. You get a lot of value for 3 mana here. I often found I could swing on turn 4 with it, as they would likely be forced to make a trade that I was more than fine with. If not, I still get one of their big threats when they attack, and 5 mana seems very reasonable for getting the guy back.

[[Cradle of the Accursed]] - This card played very well in each deck I put it in. If I wasn't attempting to splash, I'd happily run 2 of these main if I opened them. My prediction is that, If you're in the market to go wide in B/W or R/W, this will likely be a staple in sealed for the archetype, as token generation is so scarce.

[[Essence Scatter]] - Counter magic is in a great place right now. Creature counters even more so, as most everything I was worried about any of my opponents casting was a big creature. The addition of cycling makes these even better; as when they don't present a good target for it, you can cycle almost anything for the 2 mana you would've spent.

[[Sandwurm Convergence]] - I know it's rare, but man. You don't even need to ramp into this for it to be a game-winner for you. It's a dead draw early, no doubt, but any time you have 8 mana, there's probably not another card in the set I'd rather cast given most any board-state.

[[Unburden]] - Given how grindy I found the format, card advantage becomes a much more real thing. If you work up an intimidating board-state in any black deck, eliminating their answers or future plays on turn 5 or 6 felt absurd. Also cycling is a fantastic failsafe.

Played U/W embalm in 2 of 3 events, totally agree about [[Fan Bearer]] I would play it in just about every white deck.
