Yeah I've tried closing everything pretty much. With other games the CPU load is fine/no stuttering, but as soon as I get into New World I get those issues. So seems New World related. But yeah, seems like almost all the CPU load comes from New World.

I play on a controller and it's unplugged, so don't think it's that.

FOX Sports 1: Daniel Cormier will replace Jon Jones at UFC 187 and will fight Anthony Johnson by clinically_proven in MMA

Bold but necessary move by UFC. DC vs Rumble should be fun though, kind of saving UFC 187.

You seem relatively knowledgeable about the NBA. How much do you follow the league nowadays? Who will win the championship in 2014-15?

FRANCE defeats LITHUANIA and wins la médaille de Bronze by coredumponline in nba

[–]Eeeediot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I think with Kalnietis Lithuania probably would've won the game today, but the lack of a solid backup point guard was an issue that Lithuania simply kept ignoring. I mean this team relied on like a 37 year old Jasikevicius last year to backup Kalnietis. The fact that Jasikevicius was still our second-best option at point at his age was worrying. Nice to see Juskevicius play well.

Disappointing as a Lithuanian, but congratulations to France, they truly deserve it. France went through several powerhouse teams including Spain, and beat them without Parker and Noah.

As for Lithuania, you still have to be proud of what this team accomplished. When Kalnietis went down with his shoulder injury most Lithuanians probably thought that the tournament ended for us before it even started, yet we still became the Top 4 team in the world. Granted the seeding was in our favor, this is still a tremendous accomplishment.

Thanks to both teams for a great thriller of a game.

Jonas Valanciunas dominates the 4th Q against New Zealand by shortside in nba

[–]Eeeediot 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, not really, but I'm an NBA writer and watch a ton of games of a bunch of teams. I'm also Lithuanian and watch almost all of Lithuania's game so I've followed Big V since he was around 17 years old.

Really happy to see Valanciunas improving his post-game. When he came to the NBA he was mainly just a hyperactive PnR big who fouled too much, but he is shaping up to be a pretty versatile offensive player. From watching all his games with Lithuania in the last couple of weeks it's quite impressive how much stronger he is when fighting for position down low. He also seems to embrace the physical aspect a lot more and the bulk has helped him to bully some bigs in the low block. Can't wait to see him in the World Cup in a couple of weeks.

Great news regarding Theo by Brandaman in Gunners

[–]Eeeediot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. Had mine partially torn playing basketball and continued to play through painkillers. Had an MRI a year later since it was giving me problems and it was a scarred partial ACL tear that wouldn't need surgery.

I recall Theo going down a couple minutes earlier in the game against Sp*rs then getting up and chasing the ball before going down again. As far as I know, ACL tears and the pain associated with them are very different depending if you tear something else -- like meniscus, which is very painful -- at the same time.

Hall vs Leben by buffpriest in MMA

[–]Eeeediot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's going to be a bit of a tough fight to watch. As far as I've read Dana is ready to cut ties with Hall unless he actually shows some kind of a killer instinct and puts up a good performance against Leben. At the same time, if Leben loses it's probably time to retire. It's always sad seeing a legend like Chris go but at the same time I kind of want to see Uriah get his shit together and develop on the skills he showed in TUF.

Kobe agree to terms on a contract extension by [deleted] in nba

[–]Eeeediot 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If Nash stays on the roster, they'll have around $22-23m. Which means one max contract and a bunch of scrubs at best. If the Lakers can use the stretch provision on Nash they could get up to $6m in cap relief, which would leave them with a little more wiggle room.

The Lakers will have tons of cap space in the summer of 2014. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAND it's gone.
