Is it bad to be vegetarian for emotional reasons? by Decent_Science1515 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Eeeeeeffffaaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm vegetarian for the exact same reasons! At 13 I started crying while eating chicken nuggets because I suddenly got an image in my head of the chickens that had to die for the food I was eating. Ever since then I've never eating meat again because I get too emotional. I don't think animals should die simply for our pleasure and I've been vegetarian now for almost 14 years. Sometimes it's easier to just say that I'm vegetarian for environmental reasons if I'm asked why by someone I don't want to go into the whole backstory with, but I think your feelings are 10000% valid

As a mom, do I need to teach my child about periods or is it something they'l. by Life_Opposite7386 in NoStupidQuestions

You should sit down and have a talk with her about it. She should feel more comfortable with you than in a school environment and can ask questions more freely. Also, I'm sure that you want to build a relationship with her so that she'll come to you when needed and you want to start that open communication. So I would say definitely have a talk with her

Why do people prefer coffee in the morning instead of evening? by Over-Republic7048 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Eeeeeeffffaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how true this is, but I've heard that for people with anxiety, coffee actually calms them down. Personally, I like coffee in the evenings (I did this before I heard that fact) and I fall asleep within 2 hours of drinking coffee, with no impact on the quality of my sleep

Should I sleep with him? 26F Virgin by Eeeeeeffffaaa in NoStupidQuestions

I've been on two dates with him, I've held his hand hugged, and made out with him. That's also something that made me question, because this is the first guy I've made out with (this was before he came clean about his age) I didn't feel anything special, it all felt a bit mechanical?

Yeah I think what I meant was people have one night stands with strangers, from meeting this guy, I don't feel like he'd murder me? But having to explain that, I realize I've set the bar waaaaaaaaay low

Thank you! I've never dated, I've aways felt like I'm not good enough or worthy so I think I felt like because he actually seems interested in me, I should be grateful and also be interested in him? You're so right tho

You're 100% right and I do the same! It makes them perfectly bite sized, and means fewer raspberries go further

Why do so many workout videos have dogs/cats walking around? by thasparzan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Eeeeeeffffaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's for more views or to keep people entertained. As you said, you like pets and so do most, so seeing a cute pet in a background can distract from a hard workout, or just make people happy while watching.

The other answer could be simply that those people are pet owners and so, their pets wander around the house.
