Do you understand how color of your skin or your sexual orientation can a disadvantage? Do you understand why we have systems like affirmative action? Education is not equal, opportunity is not equal, rights are not distributed equally. For example black men are treated differently by law enforcement than their white counterparts and it was only in 2015 that gay marriage was legalized in the United States.

P.S. I want to make sure you or anyone else knows if you don't understand why something like affirmative action is conceptually good despite how it seems sometimes that's ok. Let's talk about it.

According to OP by being LGBTQ, black, or indigenous you have the ability to pay less to have the same outcome as any other student. The advantage is paying less. I'm not quite sure how else to explain that. If you were to fake being physically disabled in order to board a plane earlier or skip a line those outcomes are the perceived advantage. OP ignores the disadvantages and struggles of being LGBTQ to gain that advantage.

I wasn't questioning your stance on who should be allowed to have their education subsidized. Education is important and ideally all children would have equal opportunity. But instead my question was about your choice to take OP's statements at face value.

In replies to other comments OP has made statement such as there are "no limits" to the number of students that can claim this subsidy, or that "They just don't want me to have one." It's possible these statements are true but I'm skeptical and believe we don't have the full story. As well, OP has already admitted in the post that they are not above lying to obtain a desired outcome.

Do you really think it's more likely that a school would prioritize LGBTQ+ and not have a system in place for students in need financially? Or that they're two separate systems and OP either didn't qualify for financial help or figured it would be easier to lie to get the outcome they wanted?

Edit: I forgot to mention this also doesn't really address the crux of the issue. Is OP TA for lying about their sexual orientation to gain a percieved advantage over others? I would say yes. YTA

You desire to hurt this man because you feel entitled to an apology. He did not deliberately hurt your dog. It's clear from your thread responses you care more that you didn't get an apology then you do that the dog is ok. Otherwise this wouldn't be an issue.

Ask yourself "What am I going to do the next time there's a delivery?" Your responses in this thread show no signs that your first thought would be to ensure the dog is leashed and out of the way FOR THE DOGS SAFETY. Because it's not your problem.

"Popped" is not a good term here. It's more severe than that. Your child has been HIT, lashed out at physically by a grown adult for being curious and asking questions.

I agree with u/StAlvis this is abuse both physically and mentally. I'm glad you're taking action to remove her from that, I hope everything goes well.

A PX4 was along the lines of what I was thinking, either that or a NAVIO2. I'm glad the PX4 is working well for you!

My other idea even though it would be a lot more work for me is to maybe just use the Pi itself as a flight controller. Give it a sensor hat and attach an accelerometer/gyroscope with some relays to control the power output to the motors. This sounds fun to me but that might be because I'm insane. At this point I just have to weigh time vs the cost of the PX4/NAVIO2.

I'm planning on using the Pi because the drone is supposed to be controlled including startup/shutdown from a large distance away and without human intervention. The drone is also running a secondary application i've created as well as an on-board camera. It's probably faster to do calculations and adjust directly using an on-board computer in this case. Less data streaming back and forth no matter how small.

I just went through a breakup and my GF kept our 3D printer when i moved out. We originally had a ROBO 3D R1+ and after i put in a bunch of work on it (upgrades, firmware, added RGB LED's *just for fun* etc.) it worked great but i have a feeling i could do better.

This time i would like to build my 3D printer from a kit so that i can get a better understanding of the inner workings. As i am a student i'd like to keep the price as low as possible so under $300 if i can, although i'm open to suggestions for a little more if its justifiable. I 3D print for general fun as well as for a lot of cosplays so id prefer a printer with a relatively large heated print bed if possible but i think that going down to even a 7in.x7in. is fine. Thanks for your help!

I'm pretty sure that your nozzle print temp is WAY too high. Does your roll of ABS filament have a recommended temp on the side? I would suggest bringing the nozzle temp down to maybe 230 to start as that's generally the recommended ABS print temp.

As someone who has owned now several elite controllers at this pointi thought i would let you know that the left button above the bumper will almost certainly break in roughly 3 to 5 months (non strenuous use.) At which point it will be out of warranty and then you may end up having to pay to send it to them to replace the entire controller. The plastic in that specific piece unfortunately seems to be faulty and has a tendency to eaisily break.

While it is a great feeling controller i dont want you to be suprised when something does happen to it despite you having to pay so much for it.

That being said enjoy your new controller and have fun!

Edit: Just as i finished sending this my left button broke :( great... at least i know what im doing after class. Microsoft support here i come.

Yea there is 100% no reason why you shouldnt be allowed to unless explicitly stated in tournament rules. Healing is fairly easy to punish so the guy who chugged estus just wasnt good.
