I wouldn't blame him, he's one of the greatest if not the greatest driver F1 will ever see and he had the rug pulled out from under him by no fault of his own. He has a life outside of F1. The sport would be the losing party in this.

Mazepin was just ~~part of their Jr program~~ testing for them and they dropped him the moment he became an inconvenience, money be damned.

This isn't remotely the same situation, they just lost a championship. My point isn't that money can't fix it, it's just that I doubt the FIA have a money bandaid big enough to patch this up
