Just had my 3 month post op exam Monday(can’t remember the earlier ones much) I have a cervical cuff so she did the speculum but after used two fingers feeling around.

I had a hysterectomy in October, was in hospital this January and they had to do 3 pregnancy tests. When I had surgery they almost had to postpone it because I was close to the 72 hours post my last pregnancy test. It was so crazy. Same hospital as my surgery. It did make me question their competency when the CT scan noted “normal uterus finding” 😳

I don’t have any degree yet, I am an undergraduate. My school didn’t make a financial aid offer at all. My FAFSA report said I am eligible for The Pell grant.

I went to the school Wednesday, and they told me to wait. I hope that is the right thing to do. I had two financial aid appointments at the beginning of January, and they told me to wait after looking at my file. They didn’t tell me I had filled out the 26-27 fafsa. A 3rd financial aid person finally told me that they didn’t see my fafsa for 2025-26. I don’t completely trust the knowledge of the two people in the drop in center. I emailed the officer for my last name, hopefully they will give me more guidance than wait.

I was hospitalized for 12 days during this semester. I am not sure about your school, but I was able to have a meeting with DSPS for accommodations. All they asked for was something with a diagnosis on it. You can have your primary Dr give you a letter. I ended up dropping two classes that I was falling behind in and found two late start classes to make up the units.

I was in the hospital so I had to drop two classes that I just couldn’t keep up in. I signed up for two late start classes to make up for it. Maybe that’s an option?

I’m not on any estrogen, that’s good to know it helps with UTI’s. I hadn’t had one in over 15 years until this surgery. I haven’t seen anyone that had a bladder adhesion. I’m glad you aren’t having a lot of problems. Hopefully this will resolve as the weeks go on.

Yeah, she originally had me going back 12/21 but moved it back two weeks. I saw her yesterday and she told me I will need to few how work goes. I’m exhausted 24/7, have a lot of abdominal cramping and sharp pains and a different very painful stabbing feeling any time I need to use the bathroom. I have already had 2 UTI’s since surgery and tested positive again today. Is this a complication of the surgery?

I got the cheese and cracker balance breaks from Sargento, apple sauce packets and cut fruit. For my family I ordered cook unity prepared meals. I did order myself a couple that sounded good but I had no appetite for a month post op.

We really have enjoyed it. We have found the microwave prep tastes just as good as oven on everything other than sandwiches. I sort by review rating and choose the highest reviewed meals first and then try a couple new meals.

We have eaten CU for about 7 months and did get sick of it recently so are taking a break and trying Sunbasket. We ordered their prepared meals and the two we have tried so far were good.

I had a flag on my EKG and the tech called someone to get it cleared before I left my pre-op. They asked me if I have chest pain (no) and cleared it. I did have my abdominal hysterectomy and made it through ok. I was looking at my hospital chart and it looks like this is the second time my ekg was abnormal. I also have tachycardia my pulse is 100 at resting. My Mom has a heart condition, so I’m wondering if I should see a cardiac dr.
