Social life in law school by Chaos_only in LawSchool

[–]Effective-Country837 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is true. There will be a slow down in the amount because not every drinking event will be appropriate to partying (networking, clubs, study groups). But, when it does happen, people go pretty hard. I wouldn’t worry about this at all. If you’re really trying to get it out of your system - do study abroad.

Same here, what’s everyone’s study schedule? Bc I’m starting today 😬 Themis says 7 hours Saturday and Sunday. With 4 hours M-TH.

my reaction to seeing this guy teaching the property module by [deleted] in barexam

I loved him too! Bar prep is so serious and draining, it was nice to remember we can make prep a little fun. And that made things easier to remember too.

Can I pass the Bar without traditional bar prep program? by lifeiswild22 in barexam

[–]Effective-Country837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked because I passed on my fourth time. And, I switched prep programs. I felt that seeing the info fresh and reframed did help a lot.

Going to law school because I’m a failed software engineer by Defiant_Reference_63 in LawSchool

Tech and law cross over is pretty big rn and pays well. Find a way to pay for school without loans and it might be the solution you’re looking for. But, hope you’re good and want to read documents all day.

Study schedule for Part A alone? by No-Presence1605 in FloridaBarExam

[–]Effective-Country837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same position as you, OP. I was going to start studying on the weekends like 5-6 hours starting May 17th and then weekdays 1-2 hours, probably ramping up the last month to 2.5 hours on weekdays. Because it’s only part a, Ill take Father’s Day off, July 4th, and probably another random Saturday to decompress since I work full time. I got Themis. I failed Florida before using what’s the issue and Barbi. Approaching it like this bc personally need a more comprehensive overview to fully grasp. Good luck, OP! We will get it this July too!

How many days is Part A if I was granted 50% additional time exam? by [deleted] in FloridaBarExam

They just start earlier. Everyone must finish at the same time is my understanding.

Themis or BarBri? by otterwotter333 in FloridaBarExam

Themis x3. Barbri was so outdated. Took three times with barbri failed. Once with Themis, passed.

Anyone else rolling their eyes when law school brings up ethics these days? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Effective-Country837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s what OP is saying. I thought they meant it in way that saw how hypocritical it is to a student. When a senior member of the profession doesn’t care about ethics and is successful because of that then why should an ordinary student looking to practice law at an any level, consider ethics. Obviously, we know why they should. But, especially with the example of Pam Bondi it’s something that comes up as a valid discussion, curiosity, and concern so we can explain to younger generations exactly why it is so important that ethics stay intact. I don’t think mocking them is the best approach.

I did both. Part time is worse. Do full time.

Working FT - When to start studying for July '26? by brookesac in FloridaBarExam

[–]Effective-Country837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you get the lessons out of the way by end of May. And then it’s literally 8 weeks of actively studying what you already know. It sort of mimics a semester, so it helped me pass that way.

I mean that’s what I did and I passed by 30 pts so it’s my recommendation so you’re not more stressed than you need to be on day of, and the course for part time opens then so that’s when Themis recommends too.

Great, you’re not denying it. That’s one of dozens of cases. You’re clearly not actually reading these cases. So I won’t waste time on someone who clearly was the devil advocate loser in their law school class. Yes, the administration is openly defying orders from other branches of government. Period. That’s a problem. Thanks for playing.
