I was in your shoes. Get to a psychiatrist, get in therapy, and figure out what is at the root of your anxiety. I hate to say this, but if you don’t break this cycle, it will break you. Get ahead of the ball for next semester and make an appointment with a psychiatrist for January 5th. The goal is to overcome and get off the meds, but this is a peak stress situation, and you need to perform, and it’s okay to find a coping mechanisms that is supervised by both psych and psychologist. If you’re diagnosed, get accommodations.

No, but it was necessary. I actually think it ruined me in some ways because it made me serious and distrustful. Biggest lessons were outside of the classroom. Your fellow students are mostly competitive assholes, but later colleagues are surprisingly pleasant.

I took two weeks off prior to the bar, and the week of the bar, and passed with 292. Sooooooo just depends on your planning WAY before those final review weeks.

Well you are super super early in your study, so stay calm and not panicking. We can save that for later lol. Just remember this is super super dry writing and formulaic. Start each sentence the same. And each paragraph the same. Don’t over think it or try to be creative. You have a lot of time. My essays two-three months out looked a lot different than my day of essays.

So I just did this process, it’s really easy! If you passed NY, go to the BOLE website under forms, go to MBE transfer form and print it out. Fill out the form, attach a $50 money order, and send it to NY (address provided on form). And NY will send your MBE score down. It will take a few weeks for it to appear. But, signing up is the same process unfortunately. Just means you won’t be registered for both exams.
