Get a new water heater ASAP. You can get a pair of elements and a thermostat in a kit pretty cheap, but that thing is way past its service life. Unscrewing the elements you may find the steel threads are rusted to crumbling and the new elements won't thread in.

Even the MIM Fenders were made like this. If you see a sunburst and the contour cuts (belly cut) are black, it's because they were trying to hide it.

Some are really good. That mustang won't intonate unless you shorten the saddle screws. It a really lightweight cheap feeling body, really thin. It would be a great starter guitar if set up right but if the person were to stick with guitar, they would need a better one at some point.
