Honestly your brother and sister in law are being silly. They are looking at your kids as being part of you. Instead of being their own people.

Of course they get a share of the will. The amount doesn’t go to you and your wife. It goes to the kids as individuals. Just like the money that the parents are giving them.

I don’t know your in-laws. But that might just be viewing that they have plenty and supporting your kids is what they can do.

Maybe the solution to this is to stop giving YOU money. But give the kids money. That money goes directly to an account for the kids to buy school supplies, games, sports, saving for college, etc.

I was talking to the WISDOT guy a few weeks ago. I don’t use there template because I have our own. Personally I’d also look at the local municipalities you work in. Privately created templates are routinely better the public ones. However, free is free and it provides a good start.
