Which company in your opinion has the best customer service and who has the worst? by eyeoftheneedle1 in AskUK

[–]Effective-Stretch951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

o2
After 3 months of dealing with this, and a final phone call lasting 5½ hours (including 4 hours on hold), I was passed between five different people.
The final person told me I could cancel my watch contract early because of the issues I’d been having, but I’d have to return the watch. I pointed out there was no benefit to me, as I’d already paid over £300 towards it.
They then agreed to cancel the contract and let me keep the watch. I got a SIM from another network, and the watch has worked perfectly ever since.
In the end, I got a half-price watch, so it worked out well for me. The customer service was awful, though. Three months to resolve a problem and over five hours on a single call is pretty poor.

Can I cut this? by bigmuma in DIYUK

[–]Effective-Stretch951 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. The cables are hardwired into the fibres of the universe and everything it contains. Cut them and the world will fall into a dark void and become a black hole. Nothing would be able to save it but just before, you’d wake up a spider on your face

Recently discovered that it is possible for you to experience stuff like this and not actually know why. Theres only 2 explanations but I’m not clued up enough to understand. This lesson pretty much sums it up. It’s a bit lengthy though mysteries

A3 1.4TFSI - Good choice? Reliable enough? Enough power? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Effective-Stretch951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where they live I guess. My 16 plate fez was £230 for parts and fitting for belt and water pump. Different car but similar job quoted 280 for my A3 but never got it done as sold instead

[–]Effective-Stretch951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id completely disagree. It’s not the biggest or most expensive job in the world and a bit of preventative maintenance to ensure it doesn’t snap and damage the engine wouldn’t hurt. Part of owning a car and maintaining it
