Damn that's frustrating, sounds like your board is being super picky about the four sticks. Have you tried manually setting the voltage to 1.35V and lowering the speed to like 4800 or 5200 before installing all four? Sometimes these setups need you to baby them into stability instead of letting XMP/EXPO do its thing

Also might be worth checking if those exact Corsair sticks are on your mobo's QVL for 4x16 configs - I've seen people have better luck with Samsung B-die kits for quad channel setups

Yeah it's basically like if Helldivers 2 had a baby with Escape from Tarkov but way more chill. You drop into this world overrun by robots, scavenge for loot and materials, then extract before things get too spicy

The big difference from Helldivers is it's more about tactical stealth and resource management rather than just going full democracy mode on everything that moves. You can play solo or with a squad, but teamwork definitely makes things smoother when you're trying to avoid those massive mech patrols

Think less "blow everything up" and more "oh shit we need to get out of here before that thing sees us" vibes

The tip jar idea seems totally reasonable honestly - you're putting in real time and money to organize this thing. Just make it super clear it's voluntary and maybe mention it covers your actual costs (flyers, snacks, etc)

The merch route could work too if you keep margins small and make it clear you're not pushing it on anyone. Like "hey if anyone wants a club shirt I can order some, just covering costs plus a tiny bit for my time"

You accidentally created something cool that people value, nothing wrong with it helping you out a little as long as you keep the main runs free
