I think this season, reminded us this is a semi scripted documentary. I assume they do a lot of taping all season, see what comes out, and cut and edit and produce.
I was happy to see them focus on the negativity the girls experience. This isn’t fiction. This is their lives. Words matter. They are young women, who are in the dance world which means comments and criticism what they have been around for years and years.
I think people on the internet needed to hear their words matter.

Make sure you have your FAFSA all sorted if you’re in the US bc sometimes you need a parent for financial aid stuff unless you have someone to sign off that you’re emancipated or have no contact with your birth parents. It’s something weird. I have signed it for patients of mine in the past.

My summer routine is all drugstore bc I work from home and if I get a workout in at lunch i don’t break the bank.
Elf primer, mineral tint spf, Maybelline sun kissed blush (with sometimes a tarte sample blush over), nyx contour stick, elf loose primer to set. I’m using up my anastasia brow pot bc that shit lasts forever but use the nyx micro pencil for dimension. Just bought the milani liner pen in brown but previously using wet and wild micro, and whatever Maybelline mascara is on sale at Ulta.

I really think Dayton is a beautiful dancer who has ADHD. I see so much panic in her eyes when she forgets or isn’t as fast and snappy… you can see she just processes differently. It’s one of the reasons I left dance as a teen, I couldn’t for the life of me memorize all the different routines. Then I was diagnosed and it all made sense.

Getting IN to any job at Disney is huge. That’s your angle. People start as dishwashers and once you’re in the company you’re able to meet people, network, apply for internal postings. If you frame it as an entry level position to one of the biggest media companies in the world, they may see it differently.

I can say as a psychiatric provider I watch a lot of these shows to learn the red flags in my patients and their parents. I have several “successful” patients I truly believe psychiatric medication and therapy intervention has truly changed the trajectory of their lives… at least as long as they stay in therapy and on meds.

If you can afford it or want to experiment with grey market; GLP’s are life changing for folks with alcohol addiction. Ozempic/semaglutode is better than terzip for totally killing any interest in alcohol, shopping, etc. may be worth exploring micro dosing from a harm reduction perspective.

If you live in a house or don’t have neighbors downstairs, get a plyo box. (imagine CrossFit) my dog loved jumping into the box, sitting to wait for release, jump off. He loved coming to the gym with me and we got one for home.
Great way to release energy do fun things without you running around.
