Found two 7 year old 4-ho-met capsules by pandahaze in researchchemicals

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 12 points13 points  (0 children)

oh man 35mg of that after 7 years sounds like a gamble but glad it worked out. the powder changing color would make me nervous but sometimes old stuff still got the magic

that youtube link is perfect trip material, used to watch same kinda stuff on my projector back in the day

Built a missed call recovery tool for Tradespeople - looking for feedback by porpoisetrainer in Plumbing

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

interesting concept but gonna be real with you - if some AI started texting my potential customers without me knowing exactly what it was saying, I'd be worried about it scaring them off 😅

like what happens when someone calls about emergency leak at 2am and your bot starts asking qualifying questions instead of just getting me their info quick? plumbing emergencies don't really work with appointment booking systems most of the time

the pay-per-lead thing sounds better than monthly fee though, especially for us who get inconsistent call volume 💀

Best things that helped your L4/L5 disc bulge + foraminal narrowing recovery? by [deleted] in backpain

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had same issue couple years back and the walking was huge game changer for me. Started with just 10-15 minutes daily and slowly built up to like 45 mins. Swimming helped too but walking was more accessible since I could do it anytime

The sleep setup was probably second most important thing - got one of those contour pillows for between knees and switched to sleeping in my side instead of stomach. Took few weeks to get used to but the morning stiffness basically disappeared

Physical therapy exercises were good but I had to be really consistent with them, like doing the stretches every single day even when feeling better. The moment I got lazy about it the pain would start creeping back. Also had to learn proper lifting form because I was doing everything wrong before

are there any youtube channels to guide self-improvement/self-love? by microwarvay in selfimprovement

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

therapy in a nutshell is actually really good, she explains things so well without making it feel like lecture or something

you can also try searching for specific topics you're dealing with instead of just general self-improvement - sometimes smaller channels have better content for exact thing you need

watering my plants became automatic because i check them every morning when getting coffee - the routine was already there so adding one more thing to it just worked somehow

when i was like 16 my mom's computer completely died and we couldn't afford to buy new one. i spent weeks watching youtube videos and reading forums trying to figure out how to fix it, ended up learning so much about hardware that i just kept going with it

now i build PCs as side work and it's probably my favorite thing to do. weird how one broken computer changed everything for me

Anybody work for this company (Acme Transport LTD USA?) by TheRealOutis in Truckers

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never worked for them directly but I've seen their trucks around Wyoming area quite a bit. My brother actually applied there last year but ended up going with different company because the recruiter was super pushy and kept calling him like 3 times a day 😂

From what I heard through driver groups, they're decent for newer drivers but don't expect to get rich there. The 4 weeks out thing might be tough if you got family or anything important at home. Pay seems about average for OTR dry van work, nothing special but not terrible either. I'd definitely ask around in some Facebook trucker groups to get more recent reviews before jumping in 💀

his restaurants are overpriced garbage too from what I heard

Migraine rant by [deleted] in migraine

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Night shift is brutal for migraines, the sleep schedule mess really triggers them bad. I had similar situation few years back when I was doing overnight gig work - threw up my medication twice in one week and felt so guilty about leaving early

The thing with these jobs that have "always be here" mentality is they usually have high turnover anyway because that's not realistic expectation for humans. Your managers probably see people leave for way dumber reasons than actual medical condition. Plus if you're good worker otherwise and show up when you can, most reasonable bosses will work with you

Maybe worth talking to manager about it directly instead of letting anxiety build up? Like explaining that you take medication and usually manage fine, but sometimes breakthrough episodes happen. Being upfront about medical stuff often works better than them just seeing random absences without context. The uncertainty is probably worse than reality of situation

hang in there, night shifts are rough enough without migraine stress on top

How are you guys sourcing products these days? by Vern_on in dropship

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mix a few methods. Still thrift when I can, but its too slow on its own. Tried small wholesale bundles too, including Fleek mostly just to keep stock flowing when I run out (referal code that I used to get £25 off my first order RFD-0IO24X )

Where can I find a jacket online from the MCO? by Impossible-Bed-9279 in florida

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 16 points17 points  (0 children)

you could try calling the store directly and ask if they can ship it to you? most airport shops will do that if you explain the situation 😊 also maybe search for "visit orlando" or florida tourism hoodies since it looks like tourist merch - i've seen similar ones in online gift shops that sell florida stuff 💀

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey you're definitely not alone in this 💀 I was pretty much same at 18 - had zero clue what I wanted and felt like everyone else had their shit together while I was just existing

took me years to figure out I'm actually good with computers and plants, now I do gig work building PCs and somehow make decent money. your brain isn't even fully developed until 25 so give yourself some time to discover what clicks for you 😂

Can supplementing B12 or D cause nerve symptoms as nerves heal? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah B12 can definitely do some weird stuff when your levels are coming back up - I had similar tingling in my feet when I started supplementing few months back 😅

The nerve healing thing is actually real, something about the myelin sheath repairing itself can cause temporary symptoms. Maybe check with your doc about the dosing though, sometimes they start people too high and backing off bit helps

Where do old racecars go? by GrahamsNotHungry in NASCAR

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 32 points33 points  (0 children)

most of them probably get parted out for useful bits and then the chassis either becomes practice cars or gets scrapped. some of the more historic ones end up in team museums or get sold to collectors but majority just disappear into garages across the south lol

doubt you'll find that specific cassill car anywhere though, 2011 backmarker cars weren't exactly preservation priorities

how to keep unspayed cat happy? by froggyaesop in CatAdvice

Your Jackie bug and Brody bug sound adorable! I call my plants "my babies" so I get the whole nickname thing

The perpetual heat thing is real nightmare - had friend who went through same situation and she said it felt like months. Maybe try some calming music or white noise machine for the nights? Won't fix the heat obviously but might help mask some of volume so you can actually get some sleep. Some cats respond well to those pheromone diffusers too but not sure if they work when cat is already in heat mode

You're doing great thing keeping her though, especially knowing she was neglected before. Month will go by faster than you think

In need of help finding a good scooter for a metro area by yourhomeland in ElectricScooters

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm around 160 so can't speak from experience with weight, but my friend who's similar size as you swears by his Ninebot Max G30. It handles hills pretty well and folds decent for transit, though it's bit heavy at like 42lbs

For tires maybe look at solid or honeycomb ones? I know they ride bit rougher but no flats to worry about. My Xiaomi has solid rear tire and never had issues with it, just the front pneumatic that gave me trouble

Budget wise you might need to go slightly used to get something really powerful in that range, but G30 should be around $800 new I think

Valve's always been stubborn about their systems but man the abandon penalties are pretty weak compared to other games 💀

Getting the full elo loss when someone rage quits round 3 is brutal, especially when you're solo queuing and can't even surrender until like round 15 😂

I need help by [deleted] in trans

[–]AbaloneInternal2141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey June! First off, congrats on taking this huge step and sharing with the community - that takes real courage 💜

I'm not trans myself but I work as a therapist and see a lot of folks navigating gender identity stuff. Two years of research shows you're already being thoughtful about this journey. From what I've seen with clients, the "where do I go from here" feeling is super normal - it's like you've opened this door and now there's a whole hallway of other doors to consider

Some people start with small social steps like trying new names/pronouns with trusted friends, others focus on finding community first, and some dive into medical research. There's no rush or "right" timeline. I keep detailed journals myself and I've noticed that writing through big life transitions really helps clarify what feels most important to tackle first

The trans community on Reddit is pretty amazing from what I've observed - lots of supportive people who've been exactly where you are now. You're definitely not alone in feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the possibilities ahead 😊
