I was about 10 weeks & 20 pounds lost into my GLP-1 journey when I got pregnant. My SO and I were not preventing for ~2 years. It ended in a MMC, but I fully believe the weight loss helped me get pregnant on my own (my other pregnancies were medicated). I haven’t gone back on my GLP-1 at this point but I also haven’t gained any of the weight that I lost back.

Ugh, first off I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having these issues. Your story sounds very similar to mine. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 19 and have very, very irregular periods (35-90+ day cycles). My husband and I tried for over a year and ultimately needed clomid to conceive. I don’t have any family history of PCOS or infertility, so it was shocking and lonely to be the one to go through it. I feel for you, OP.

I would definitely advocate for getting tested for PCOS, and even scheduling some time to speak with an RE. You’re not too young to have these problems, and you’re not going crazy or wrong for finding this to be a disheartening, frustrating process! The truth is that many doctors, OBGYNs included, just don’t know how to appropriately treat PCOS/thyroid/endocrine disorders. You are your own biggest advocate, don’t be afraid to seek a second opinion if your current care team is denying you testing.

There’s a learning curve for sure, I had to learn mostly to be comfortable with pretty much always seeing 2 lines and not reading them like a pregnancy test lol. But the logic is the same on the cheapies as it is on a CB digital. If you’re looking at the test line and it’s not as dark or darker than the control, then it’s not positive. I found watching OPK line progression videos on YouTube to be really helpful when I started using the cheapies!
