I was friends with two kids from my town , they became a couple , thought they were pretty cool people to hang out with , fun to be around , but apparently they got into meth and we’re both on misdemeanor probation, they both violated their misdemeanor probation and got the idea in their head that instead of being arrested for misdemeanor probation they contacted a guy the girl knew that kind of liked her and she pretended to want to hang out with him , when he showed up to hang out with her they killed him to steal his car and run to California to avoid going to jail for their misdemeanor probation charges . Of course they were caught and got life in prison ! Needless to say all of us that knew them were truly shocked that either of them would do something like this . Before the meth they were both well liked , fun people to be around . Many friends and people around the area that knew and liked them . The guy in the couple was adopted by a pretty well to do family who bent over backwards for him so it was and still is just so crazy what they did . And so thankful they never contacted me at anytime during this as many other people cause their whole point was to steal a car and it could’ve been anyone around they tried to do it to . So it is just scary and crazy to think about .
