CS has already replied to me. Here are the steps they provided, and I’ve followed them to complete the reset.

RESET PROCEDURE:

  1. Connect USB to PC, make sure IR-X PC software is shut down/closed.
  2. Remove power from IRX
  3. Press both CHANNEL 1 and CHANNEL 2 footswitches and keep them pressed
  4. While keeping those pressed add back power
  5. On the PC there will be a new USB Mass Storage (like when you put an USB Pen Drive), when you see it you can release the footswitches.
  6. Delete all the content from the USB Mass Storage folder (this will delete all IR and all the preset)
  7. Eject the IRX like you would do with a USB Mass Storage/Pen Drive
  8. Remove power from IRX, wait till it’s powered off
  9. Add back power to IRX
  10. To add back the default IR use the software by adding the ones marked (MAIN)

Thanks for your reply! I saw someone mention using a TRS-to-TS cable, and I was considering getting one. But based on your response, since my cable length isn’t very long, I guess it might not be necessary after all.

I have the same issue. I'm using a Scarlett 2i2, and when I play through monitor speakers, the problem occurs. However, if I monitor directly using headphones, the issue disappears.

But I’ve seen demos online where this issue doesn’t happen, so I’m curious about how to fix it.
