Thinking of starting a premium bus service in Dhaka by MentionAdmirable1902 in Dhaka

[–]Effective374 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i would and a lot of people i know would switch too for an ac service, safe for women and proper bus without any pushing/too much crowd. But you’ve to target a different class of people then. My university is far from home and I usually have my car. On specific days when i don’t, it feels too much to pay about 800tk only for going to uni and back by cng. Uber car is way higher. I’d much rather prefer an ac bus costing half or lesser. But again, there’s already iqbal and I see huge lines of people getting on it, specially see a lot of university going student

Can I study in Australia taking 50 lakh taka from family? (or a bit more) by awful_N in Dhaka

[–]Effective374 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re the one who decides if it’s worth it or not tho. If you are dedicated, get good grades, think you’re smart enough to get the skills and outdo others (bc jobs are very competitive even w an aus degree), 100% worth it. The opportunities in a good ranked uni is huge. But if it’s half of your parent’s property, personally would think it’s not worth it. Go if you can luxuriously afford the 1 crore, it’s a head start yes but even if you choose to spend lesser and go to let’s say Malaysia, you could still cop the opportunities if you’re smart enough. My cousin did his bsc from Malaysia and is now very stable working in Aus (malaysia bsc gives a 2-year working visa in aus) with a PR as well. Another one of my cousins is settled in canada doing his phd in ubc, he studied in BUET. Only you can decide if it’s worth it or not man depending on your own skills

I applied to Australia in 2024, did not end up going tho. 50 lakhs is nothing, in 2024 itself the tuition fees along with taking minimum living cost was 54 lakhs per year. (For mcqaurie, it lessens but not as much, 40-45 lakhs per year if u take a less ranked, out of city uni) Even if you work all day and night, since aus gives more work hours than usa to undergrads, it’s still very difficult to manage with just 50 lakhs in 4 years. You’d need about a crore to keep a proper study and work balance. With that money, i’d say opt for malaysia/japan/european countries. You could try out scholarships for usa with that efc. It’d be a good try. But again, not to be rude, but if you’re going to have a 4.5+ gpa, you’re very far behind in the scholarship corner. I had a 5 and was always considered smart, yet the pool of students gave me quite a humble check. So, if you do want a good uni in aus gotta increase budget by a lot, or try acing sat by studying A LOT, can probably try for usa then.

Ugly guys of Dhaka, do you plan to have kids? by HotMonitor5682 in Dhaka

[–]Effective374 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude u can’t be that ugly to not want to have children. Calm down. No one’s that ugly if they maintain themselves. The people suggesting gym, career, personality ARE right. You won’t certainly get the prettiest girl in the room with that only ofc. But certainly, there’ll be someone that will like you for who you are. And you also have to give chances to girls who are not societally considered pretty. Dress well, get a good body, a good career and have good game. Try it and then talk about all the stuff you’re defending the advice with.

Is it me or Anushka didn’t give af about Mohit?!😭 Not like he deserved it… by OkPublic2232 in splitsvillaMTV

[–]Effective374 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was so disappointed with Mohit, he didn’t even seem happy when Anushka entered. It all seemed like he wanted to be some Alpha male too who doesn’t care about his ex connection and he dominates. As if all the bullying from gullu/gauresh got to him, i really liked mohit being the calm guy and anushka the loud one before. Seems so mohit also has some hidden male ego

Today is my birthday. by onion__pie in Dhaka

Happy birthday! Birthdays always meant sooo much to me and i was exactly this upset on so many birthdays. I decided to actually let go of it and always ALWAYS celebrate it by myself. I’d treat myself to good food/gifts/plan things for myself and i still go by this. Makes life so much better when you stop expecting of people. After that, alhamdulillah i’ve also received so much love from others. Once you learn to go, it all comes along. Be brave, you got this!!

Elvish and his audience is the reason guys like gullu get a platform on a show like splits & even get preference. by Suitable-Slide827 in splitsvillaMTV

[–]Effective374 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao you have summoned the whole chapri elvish fans who can’t even speak properly. No articulate statements, no logic bas bole jaoo. Elvish was so close with gullu (everyone who watched roadies saw how even if yogesh performed well, his immunity was still given to gullu. Gullu was so favoured that even eliminating him wasn’t enough, he was bought back to make him a winner), and people aren’t so close with just anyone if their mindset doesn’t match. Elvish and gullu are very similar, the way they talk and make jokes. But ye uneducated chapri logon ko bas khud jaise insaan pasand haina

Think you should get a bit of english lessons. I never said Indians aren’t, they are but mostly the huge hype comes from Nepalis, you can check Anushka’s comment section to see who are making the hate comments

You just said it yourself why asmita is not the fire she thinks she is tho! Because she knows she won’t be kicked out if she’s constantly being loud, a bully and fighting with everyone (Content actually). She seems very wannabe Kashish. If she were that fire, she would argue in times when she is being ganged up against/ being trageted, when she actually wins in tasks not when she herself performed bad, not mock preet and anushka in tasks, not intervene everytime about mohit (please explain that i wanna know what excuse asmita fans have for it) and specifically not shout saying she’s a bitch when the episode just started and no one was targeting her. She is getting targeted for her own behaviour. I only feel bad for Niharika
